Great day on the French Riviera - Thalis is a talented, knowledgable, and personable guide who showed us around some amazing places. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the French Riviera.

Best of the French Riviera - We had an amazing 2.5 day experience with Thalis. She was fabulous and pretty much customized the tour to our needs. We aren’t shoppers so she was able to add Antibes and Eze to our tours. We had a great time and took the most beautiful pictures! I highly recommend Thalis for any French Riviera tours.

Spending a great day in the French Riviera with Magdalena - We got to see so much with Magdalena and enjoyed our time with her. She took us to the Fragonard Perfumery to learn about how perfume is made and then we visited the towns of Eze, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, and St Paul du Vence. She gave the group the option to explore the towns with her and learn about the history or to explore on their own and each person could make their own decision. She knew a lot about everywhere we went and showed us a couple of places that only locals would know about. We had a lot of free time in the car so it was interesting to hear about her perspective living in France. It was a long day so be prepared to come home tired after walking a lot. The only small critique in our experience was that there was no time built in for lunch. After an early pickup time, we did not have a chance to grab any food until reaching Cannes at 2pm and by that time we were starving. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our day with Magdalena because even though we had visited some of the towns on our own, it was great to get the history. Magdalena was organized, prompt, and personable.

Getting a tour of the French Riviera with the best! - Margot was the best! It was our first day out ever in Nice (first time in France and Europe altogether), and we lucked out having our very own Nice-native tour us across the French Riviera for the full day. We showed up 20 minutes early and Margot was already there. Luckily we were the only couple for the morning tour, so Margot said let’s get an early start and off we went! As we had extra time Margot went the extra mile and took us through the scenic route to Eze, making a few stops along the breathtaking route. That set the tone for the remainder of the trip, with Margot making us feel welcomed, excited, and taken cared of along every step of the entire 11 hour day. Margot’s completed her art history studies at a renowned institution in France. She knows her information very well and her love for her region and its history could be felt as she guided us through and in-between each location on the itinerary. We hope your tour is with Margot, too. Our favorite stop was Antibes, make sure to get the best ice cream there. There is plenty of time spent at each location, with Margot accompanying us on foot when possible (some places don’t have free parking, so she occupied the mini-bus then). For our next tour we are definitely choosing A la Française again!

A great experience - Excellent experience and wonderful tour guide, who let us curate the second part of the trip as we were the only couple left for that part so it was like our own private tour

Did not tour the best of French Riviera - Stopped by police in Monaco due to lack of documents by tour company.. Tour guide given a ticket. Had to leave Monaco immediately and not allowed to complete tour of Monte Carlo. Other than ‘sorry’ no compensation or recourse given. Tour lacked some small niceties..like bottles of water given warm weather and a lot of uphill walking. Depth of knowledge of areas visited was very superficial. We really wanted to see Monte Carlo and feel it was very unprofessional of tour company to put the group through this experience. We would not recommend this tour/ tour company.
