Embark on a sampan and witness the vibrant trading activities of Cairang Floating Market, the largest floating market in Vietnam. Goods exchanged include fresh fruits and vegetables, such as pineapples and mangos. Experience a unique breakfast, ordering from floating restaurants and cafes which offer delicious noodle soup and strong Vietnamese coffee—a perfect combination to start your day.
We will then cruise into the jungle through small, yet complex canal systems, which provide a serene home to diverse flora and fauna. Allow yourself time to relax and meditate on this tranquil part of the trip.
Next on our trip is a visit to an organic cocoa farm. The owner’s father brought the plants back from a trip to Malaysia in 1960, introducing an extremely different crop to the region. All handmade and processed, these chocolate goods are a labour of love for this family.We will also explore a four-decade old noodle village and participate in the making of rice noodles the traditional way.

Great experience! - It was a very nice, well-organized and interesting trip! Our tour guide David was super nice and explained both the tour stops and life in Vietnam to us very well and interestingly in perfect English.

Life on the Mekong - The tour was a highlight of our vacation. Trena, our guide, showed us everything at the market on land at the beginning and she had a good explanation for every question. It was a food market where people still trade and sell. The boat tour on the Mekong was just great. The floating market has changed a lot and yet it is great to see the market and hear the stories about the people and boats. The organic cocoa plantation was a nice end. Thanks again to Trena. She gave us a great insight into everyday life and this alone made the tour unique.

Fantastic way to experience the floating markets. - We had a great time on this tour. Mariah was our guide who was extremely helpful and informative with excellent English. We were able to do it as a private tour which felt more authentic than doing a big organized tour. Mariah was also fantastic with the kids and dealing with all our food preferences

A half day you will remember! - We did this tour with a wonderful guide, Mariah. Mariah’s enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge were among the best things about this trip (she speaks great English, too). But this was just a great tour all around - one of the highlights of our Mekong experience for sure. We packed in an amazing amount of fun in a half day, in all kinds of different Mekong settings, but it never felt hurried. Great food, great scenery, great cultural experiences - i would definitely recommend this tour, and this guide, highly.

fantastic Tour - The tour with Hannah was absolutely the best of our Vietnam trip, we really enjoyed the information about the locations as well as their culture! it was very relaxed and each destination was very interesting and not crowded! We were really full afterwards (not a must) because we were able to try for example delicious fruit, coffee, organic cocoa and soup in between!

What we did - Trina was an excellent tour guide and told us all about the floating markets, rice noodle factory and cocao farm. She was very knowledgable and taught us some Vietnamese words too.
We’re we’re picked up on time and taken by taxi to the port and then boated to the floating markets. We got an a local boat to see how the people lives and are pineapple. We got drinks from a man on his boat and then food from 2 ladies on a small boat.
In between stops at the rice noodle and cocao factory Trina took us to local villages where they grow seeds for farmers and she had great knowledge about how much things cost and labour, environment etc.

A great way to experience life on the Mekong Delta - A great tour! Loved getting coffee and breakfast from the floating shops and learning about how people live their life on the river.
Also enjoyed the Rice Noodle visit and also the Cacao farm. Our daughter really enjoyed getting involved in making the noodles and eating the chocolate!
Hannah was a wonderful guide and she also brought lots of beautiful fresh fruit for us to try.
The only slight negative was that it was probably an hour too long.
