  • Birkat Al Mouz Ruins - Explore the ancient village and enjoy a visit to a unique coffee shop located in one of the traditional houses. Afterwards, drive through the date palm farms and observe one of Oman’s oldest irrigation systems, the water channel. You can also view the Oasis from above.
  • Nizwa Fort Oman - Constructed in the 1650s by the second Ya’rubi, Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya’rubi, with foundations dating back to the 12th century, this fort is Oman’s most frequented national monument. It served as the administrative center for the ruling Imams and Walis during both peaceful and turbulent times. The main structure took approximately 12 years to complete and was built over an underground stream, symbolizing the town’s historical importance.
  • Nizwa Souk - Located near the renowned Nizwa Fort, this souq combines traditional and modern architectural styles. For centuries, its numerous alleys and sections have been home to local industries such as dagger making, copper work, spinning, livestock trading, and the sale of fish, vegetables, and handicrafts.
  • Bait Al Aqr - Tour the Al Aqar neighborhood, known for its historic houses and cafes, and experience the traditional Omani neighborhoods.

In the evening, we start our journey to the past through the Sumail Gap, which divides the Western and Easter Hajar Mountains. After this we head to the old capital of Oman, Nizwa, known for its silver Souq and the big round fort, built during the period of the Yoruba dynasty. After visiting the Souq and the Fort, Then we drive to BirkatAlMouz, a pretty oasis known for its sheer scenic value. Reach from there to the roof of Oman, the Saiq Plateau. A beautiful village which was only accessible by donkeys, for hundred of years.

Explore art, traditional food experience and to learn more about Oman culture and history.

Nizwa was the capital of Oman in the 6th and 7th centuries.
However, it was center of trade, education and art. Also, to know about how old Omanis built the old irrigation system (falaj).
