Nice day trip. - Our tour and tour guide was great. He was knowledgeable and answered our questioned sincerely and give us many tips while we are staying in Amsterdam. One of tip was lunch spot during tour. The restaurant was just like he described quick and great seafood. We got more than money worth. I wish they used blue umbrella like they told us on Meeting spot instruction.

5 stars to Ilya- fantastic tour guide! - The highlight of the day trip besides seeing beautiful places and eating some nice cheeses was Ilya, our tour guide. He was incredibly informative, witty and helpful. He made the trip as fun as he possibly could. So, this a trip worth joining because 1) if you have Ilya as your guide and 2) the chance to see some absolutely beautiful places outside of Amsterdam city. However, I would feedback that the tour company should reconsider making it a smaller group (no more than 20 as it was challenging looking after 44 ppl) as this meant quite a bit of time was taken to ensure people get on the bus on time etc. Secondly, this should be made into a full day trip (ending at 5pm instead of like 2:30pm) so we have enough time to enjoy and capture great pictures in these smaller towns. Apart from them, it's a great one to join especially if you only have like 2-3 days in Amsterdam like we did.

Netherlands for real - All the things you read and watched on screens about The Netherlands come good in this trip - from the windmills to the dykes and the water level standing above the ground height, the constant battle with the sea - it all see the light of day. Our guide Rob was a delight. Not just for his grasp on the details but also for his humour and wit Overall, one must-do for anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Wonderful short trip - Ilya our guide for this trip was wonderful. The trip was well managed and Ilya gave detailed instructions, information about each site we went to and of places on the way. I recommend this trip anyone looking for a shorter trip (started ~8am and back in Amsterdam ~3pm)

Awesome day trip close to Amsterdam - The windmills at Zaanse Schand are postcard perfect. The crowds there can get crazy. Get there early enough and you can get some unobstructed pictures. Edam may be my favorite little town in The Netherlands. So quaint and picturesque. Volendam was nice and Marken was also beautiful. The cheese making and wooden shoe stop was okay, but felt more like a tourist trap than the others.
