Unbelievable views - so glad we did this tour - I believe we were on the same bus as another reviewer of this tour in April. We had a very different experience and would highly recommend the tour. The path at the waterfalls was icy (a lot like New York City after a few inches of snow) but the guides helped people through it. Between our two tour buses and the couple of other tour buses, there were a couple of hundred people that I believe made it safely to the viewing points to see the falls which were well worth it. To compensate for the delays caused by road construction, the tour company added a free leg to the tour which took you down the road along the fjord to and across the Hardanger Bridge. As amazing as the falls were, I would say the bridge was just as impressive – especially given that the road on each end of the bridge goes directly into the mountain where there are underground roundabouts. The restrooms were an issue. There was plenty of time before the bus left for the tour to use the restrooms in the hotel next to where the bus parked and they were very well maintained. Each of the buses had two tour guides and ours were excellent giving details of the area along the way and answering every question we had.

Three seasons in a three hour tour!! - The beautiful scenery. Even though we had a lot of clouds as we ascended to the National Park area, the clouds lent an eerie quality to the landscape. We obviously would have enjoyt ed more sun but as the Norwegians say, "Wait 5 minutes!" The beauty of the green grass and flowering trees in the sunshine as we descended back into Eidfjord was even more astounding because of being in the clouds. Our guide was also very good and had a lot of great info.

Great guide - Together with our mothers, we traveled to Norway's fjords on the AIDA. For Eidfjord, we had booked the tour to the Vörsfossen waterfall through "My Shore Excursions". Our guide Sabrina was waiting for us on site and told us a lot of interesting facts about the geology, history, vegetation, wildlife and people here, very clearly and in perfect German. And it was very entertaining and spiced up with all kinds of anecdotes. Unfortunately, the free time at the waterfall was a bit short due to the weather and construction work. All in all, a highly recommended tour.
