Easy going pedaling with awesome vistas - Fantastic scenery of the north coast. Didn’t get to the light house because I lost my phone on the trail and had to trace back on the trail and found it...👍🏼

Awesome way to see natural Aruba - This tour was awesome and turned out better than expected. We were visiting Aruba on a cruise ship and were picked up just a short walk from the dock right on time. After a short van ride to Rancho Notorious we were soon on our bikes. The bikes we're all nice Scott and Trek bikes with disc brakes and were well maintained. The ride itself was mostly on desert coastal plain along the rocky coast. The scenery was fantastic. You'll pass by a beautiful, historic chapel and pedal in the shadow of the California Lighthouse. And beautiful views of the ocean are everywhere. The biking was mostly flat on sandy trails with some occasional hills. Good helmets and water were provided. Our ride was sunny, warm, humid, windy, and fantastic. The biking took us just over 2 hours and we were worn out, but in a good way. The biking was the highlight of our trip to Aruba and we would recommend it to anyone who enjoys pedaling around in some of the prettiest scenery on the island.

Nice ride - This ride was a whole lot of fun. I signed up for the beginner/intermediate ride because even though I have mountain biked for years I am not technically proficient. I was the only on one your so basically I got a private tour from Pilot. Nice guy. The ride was mostly sand roads with coral and I was allowed to set the pace. The three scheduled stops the chapel the lighthouse and the beach were nice destinations and reasons to rest a bit. A word about the bikes. The bike I got was perfectly set up and tuned. The disc brakes were intuitive. It is unusual in a rented bike to have one in such good shape. I wish I had brought my riding gear, cause I would definitely go back for an advanced ride

Be Ready - This was a great way to see the North side of Aruba- largely in its natural state. Be ready, though- it is not a super-easy ride! Remember that it is 80 degrees and the sun beats down on you here in Aruba- so you need some level of fitness to enjoy this ride. It is basically flat, though, which helps. We are a semi-active couple in our 50s and we made it! The owner (who picked us up) was the most personable tour operator we encountered on the island. He was very informative and genuinely friendly. Our bike tour guide was also nice and informative, and he went at the pace we needed. It is a very unique landscape on the North side of the island which you don't experience just going to the high-rises and the strip malls. I think our vacation would have been incomplete without this trip.

Mountainbike 2 hours for beginner and intermediate riders - 640001708 Great choice to come to Rancho Notorious! There were just four of us taking the tour. It was very nice to have two wonderful guides to cover both faster and slower riders. The bikes were great. I always travel with my pedals and bike shoes and they were happy to put my pedals on a bike for me. Full disclosure... they do require that you upgrade from a $55 bike to an $80 bike so they can set you up with your own pedals but totally worth it. Can’t wait to go back to Aruba and ride again at this awesome location. We were able to see parts of the island that we would never have seen.

Great way to experience the Aruba landscape - As a 72 yr old I was a little hesitant to bike with my 35 yr old son and his girlfriend but Geert set a pace which we were all able to keep up and the tour which lasted 3-3.5 hours showed us a variety of landmarks and scenery which was spectacular at times. The equipment was good quality and well maintained and disc brakes provided great stopping power in the downhill sections. The tour departed at 8.30 AM and it was getting quite hot when we finished at noon so I would recommend an early start to avoid the noon/afternoon temperatures. I have no difficulty in rating this tour as 5 star and will go back when I am next in Aruba on vacation.

Wonderfully patient guide - My wife and I did this excursion as absolute beginners. We are overweight and haven’t been on a non-stationary bike in years. My wife thought it would be fun to try it. And it was, but only thanks to our amazing guide. He was patient and kind and most of all very encouraging. We stopped at more “picture spots” than we probably should have, and I’m sure it was his way of giving us a break. The bikes were in very good shape, but my wife’s seat was much smaller than mine and that led to her getting soreness from the seat (and not just our lack of physical activity). In the end, we made the 14-mile ride and enjoyed some amazing scenery along the way along with a beautiful chapel and majestic lighthouse. If you’re planning on doing this as a total beginner, just be aware that it’s really difficult, but rewarding when you finish.

12/05/19 Ride - Really good bike excursion. Physically demanding as we are beginner/intermediate. The views of the northern shores were worth the price. The guide we had was terrific, always making sure we were OK to continue.

Not A Tour, An Ordeal - The physical exertion required here was way understated. This is essentially about an 11 mile ride over rough trails, mostly uphill. On this day there was a powerful ocean wind making it worse. The scenery is at times breathtaking, but there few planned stops where you could enjoy it. The ride took so long, the snorkeling had to be cut short. Essentially, there was only time for a quick dip in natural pool along a rocky coastline (not a beach), but the water was pristine and refreshing. The tour folks were nice and professional, but this experience was not fun. If you are an experienced biker in really good shape, you make like it more.
