- Claude Batten Drive - Our rendezvous point is the trailer located in the parking area at Beach Access No 11 on Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Heads. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your lesson. We equip you with a long-sleeved rash/sun shirt (or a wetsuit during the colder months) and provide you with an appropriately sized soft surfboard for beginners. Following that, we proceed to the shoreline where we commence with a briefing on safety and some fundamental surfing techniques. After catching a few initial waves in shallow water, we return to the shore for a more comprehensive lesson on standing up on the board. The remainder of the session is spent in the ocean, with the instructor aiding each participant in successfully standing up on their surfboard.

Discover the art of surfing at Noosa, a renowned surf location on Australia’s Sunshine Coast. The warm waters and secure shoreline make Noosa a perfect spot for novice surfers. Get your surf lessons in the water that’s waist-deep with certified surf instructors who also happen to be surf lifesavers. Included in the package are soft boards for beginners and rash guards or wetsuits.

Turn left into Hastings Street and continue towards the river mouth. When you get to the last shops you still have another 600 meters to go. Continue through the Noosa Woods until you find the Go Ride A Wave trailer at Beach Access No 11.

Great Instructor - Great surf lesson. Top tips. Explained very well. I managed to stand up and catch lots of waves. Feedback from the instructor was amazing.

Book it - I went with my 2 daughters and it was the best time.
I recommend trying it out. We had a big group with 4 instructors and they were all patient and helpful. They really wanted you to be able to catch a wave. The 2 hours flew by and afterwards we spent most of the time at the beach. It was a fabulous way to spend a day at Noosa and we would all do it again.

Great Surf Lesson for beginners! - Although I was the only one who booked the surf lesson in the afternoon, the lesson was not canceled, which I really appreciated.
My instructor (Rease) was very nice, helpful and taught me a lot in the two hours. The location is great for beginners, and I could easily stand on my surfboard at the end of the lesson.
"Go Ride A Wave Noosa" is great for your first tries on a surfboard.

Excellent first surf lesson - The lesson was a lot of fun and the instructor (Valentin) was brilliant! I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to give surfing a go!

Great experience and we all stood up! - We had an amazing experience surfing with Valentin - perfect weather conditions and a beautiful day. He was really friendly and helpful with tips and all of managed to stand up! Would highly recommend :)

In the top! - The surf lesson was great! The waves weren't too big which is perfect for starting out. There were only 4 of us and Sisi is a very good teacher!

Fun and Great Adventure experiance - It was a rainy day in Noosa, but Rees and his team made our surfing experience great. The event was well-organized, and the trainers were friendly and attentive. They ensured maximum protection by implementing all possible safety measures at a safe location. As first-time surfers, we were comfortable and motivated to continue in the future. Awesome surf! - Thank you for teaching us cool tricks and how to surf. Our instructor Valentin was great, very patient, and he gave us a couple of tips and tricks about surfing. Overall it was an amazing experience.
