Downtown - See the Laughing Statues, spectacular views of the Seawall and English Bay, Yaletown, and Gastown with the World Famous Steam Clock. The steam clock has a series of steam pipes running underneath the City of Vancouver and connected to a generating plant at Georgia and Beatty Streets. This unique system provides heat to most of our downtown core, and the Steam also allows the Gastown Steam clock to whistle. Coal Harbor where cruise ships dock and sail. Stanley Park - Stanley Park, a tourist destination named after Lord Stanley is a 400-hectare natural West Coast rainforest. Queen Elizabeth Park - This 52-hectare park is home to the amazing Bioedel Conservatory, its landscaped quarry garden has a collection of exotic and native trees. 125 m above sea level, it’s the highest point in Vancouver and makes for spectacular views of the park, city, and mountains on the North Shore. It offers tennis, lawn bowling, and pitch & putt.
