Great experience, highly recommended - Very friendly and knowledgable guide who had an answer to every question we had about local animals and culture. Small boat with only 9 of us offering great viewing experience, much better than on bigger boat with large rows of people. Highly recommended

Great Cruise on the Chobe - Excellent cruise with a great captain of the boat. There were lots of boats on the Chobe River, but our captain was able to be in the right place at the right time. The small boat was a real advantage as it allowed us to get in close and move fast. Definitely book this tour with African Drifters. Met the owner, who picked us up - nice guy who is building his business so help support his company.

Absolutely Brilliant - My husband and I went on this cruise and had the most amazing time. Bruce kindly picked us up from our hotel out of town and took us to the boat where there were only 5 other people. Our guide was extremely passionate, knowledgeable and fun during the cruise and even with bad weather (heavy rain towards the end) they provided us with rain jackets etc. and we had the best time - seeing elephants, crocodiles, hippos and water buffalo. We would 100% suggest using this company to do this wonderful cruise.

Excellent - The wonderful views and tranquility makes it well worth it. Experience the wild live as they come to drink and the hippos in their habitat

Disappointing Experience - We had been on two other sunset cruises recently that were wonderful. This was a dreadful experience. We were 10 people jammed onto a small, dirty boat. No legroom, no space to maneuver. Small boat was rocked by the waves of virtually all the other cruise boats. We boarded the boat at 3 pm and were taken for registration at the entrance to the Chobe National Park. We eventually left there at 3.40pm. While we sat waiting for our "Captain" to complete the formalities, at least 4 other boats who arrived to do registration after us, completed their formalities and left on their cruises. No explanation for our 20 minute delay was given. We were told we would be offered soft drinks and water on the cruise. Nothing was offered at all. At the end of the trip our "Captain" happily advised us that we were welcome to thank him for the trip (presumably hinting for a tip). ADVICE - ask to see a picture of the boat you will be travelling on before you book and part with your money. This scruffy little boat with torn chair covers would not receive a booking if people saw if before booking.
