Additional Information
This is a great way to get to know the city of Bangor Northern Ireland. I will guide you through the streets by foot. We will stop at over 20 street art paintings along the way. This is the only one of its kind running in the city. You will be guided by me, I’m also handily one of the artists who has work as part of the tour, so I have first hand experience of this diverse and colourful scene. You’ll get to know about the artists and you will have a way of connecting to them via the map handout given as part of the ticket price.

The Court House
Quay Street
The court house is a well known heritage building that has been converted into a bar. The first painting we will discuss is located here.. There is a bench you can rest on while we wait for all the tourists to join us. I will be waiting for you with my maps. I’ll be in plain probably painty clothes

Stunning visual art to feed the senses. - Sometimes it’s great to play tourist in your own town!! I will be recommending this tour to everyone who enjoys and appreciates art. Street art is growing in popularity in many towns and cities and Bangor has so many great murals to choose from. Carla’s knowledge and banter makes for a fun and entertaining Sunday afternoon and even better if it ends with a pint in the local ! Also a nice way for a solo traveler to get chatting with friendly people. Go for it 💚

Amazing Street Art Walking Tour!!! - The perfect event for a Sunday afternoon!! The Street Art is amazing and there were lots of hidden treasures highlighted. The tour guide Carla is warm, welcoming, super-friendly and engaging. She’s an Artist herself and was able to answer lots of questions with insider knowledge! Cannot recommend enough!!

Insightful - Great to get a tour by one of the artists. I’m particularly interested in the meaning behind the art and Carla had good insights. So I now know why someone painted a fried egg on a cable box!
