Join us with our senior guides and expert history buffs on a two and a half hour guided coach tour which includes a scenic drive through the Mont-Dore region, renowned for its highest mountain and unique treasure – The iconic spring water fountain. There is a 15 minute stop for photos.

Our journey then continues to the Nouville peninsula for you to admire and learn about the first colonial settlement and its convicts. There is a 15 minute visit at the Colonial penitentiary museum.
The tour concludes with a 15 minute visit to the Maritime museum to discover the extraordinary journey of French explorer Lapérouse and the history of the famous Amedée lighthouse.

Entry fees for both the Colonial penitentiary and Maritime museum are included. Departure time : 10.30 am from Quay Ferry boardwalk, which is located next to the Noumea cruise ship terminal.
Lunch and beverages are not included and a reasonable level of fitness is required.
