Additional Information

The International Military Tribunal carried out the Major War Criminals Trial in Nuremberg from November 20, 1945, to October 1, 1946. As a byproduct, Courtroom 600 in Nuremberg’s Palace of Justice became globally infamous. Post this trial, from 1946 to 1949, the same courtroom witnessed 12 ‘Subsequent Trials’ conducted solely by U.S. military tribunals.

Even today, in the southeast corner of Nuremberg, the remnants of buildings that once stood on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds leave visitors awestruck with their sheer size, bearing stark witness to the National Socialist regime’s megalomania. This 4-square-mile area was designed to serve as a monumental backdrop for the Nazi party rallies, showcasing their dominance to not just Germany but the entire world.

Remember, The Palace of Justice is NOT OPEN ON TUESDAYS.

Group tours are limited to a maximum of 8 participants.

Former Nazi Rally Ground and Courtroom 600 Tour - Our guide, Rob, picked us up at our hotel which was awesome! He kept us entertained as well as saturating us with facts, history, and his enthusiasm for his job to make sure everyone has a good time and learns a lot. We started around 10:00 and ended with the Courtroom tour about 1:30, did not even realize time was ticking. He shared the photos he showed us during the tour to help understand history and he took an iconic photo in front of the Coliseum for our group! All in all I would highly recommend this tour!

Great tour, highly recommended - Great tour. Lots of fun. Our guide had a lot of complementary knowledge to what you hear from traditional guides. So we learnt a lot of new things on the relationship between the 3rd Reich and Nuremberg. Very lively , very interesting. Thank you again.

Brilliant Tour guide! - I did the former Nazi Rally ground and Court room 600 tour. The guide was wonderful- he was very knowledgeable and had a great knack for telling stories. He captured our attention with very interesting stories from Nuremberg’s history. The tour itself covered several key destinations and was very well-rounded. I would definitely recommend doing this tour if you are in Nuremberg.
