Day 1: Arrive in Chengdu

Potala Palace - In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, the highest ancient castle-like building complex in the world, the residence of the Dalai Lama and the center of Tibetan political and religious power.
Jokhang Temple - After lunch, visit the Jokhang Temple, the earliest Buddhist temple built in the Tubo Dynasty. The temple enshrines the twelve-year-old life-size statue of Sakyamuni who accompanied Princess Wencheng to Tibet. It is the most sacred and spiritual Buddha statue in the hearts of Tibetan people. Visitors here can not only see the piety of the people in worship, but also join the people in praying for all living beings around Bajiao Street.
Barkhor Street - Bajiao Street is located in the center of the ancient city of Lhasa and is the street with the most complete preservation of its original appearance. It is a gathering place for Lhasa’s religion, economy, culture, national handicrafts and even Tibetan customs. It is also a must-visit place for travelers to Lhasa.
Lhasa - Yanghu Lake - Karola Glacier - Lhasa
Yamdrok Yumtso Lake - Depart from Lhasa in the morning and drive to Yamdrok Yumco, one of the three most colorful holy lakes in Tibet. Yanghu Lake is the highest freshwater lake in the world, with an altitude of 4,441 meters. It is called “Jasper Lake” in Tibetan. Afterwards, you can go down the mountain to get up close to Yangzhuo Yumcuo.
Karo La Glacier - In the afternoon, we pass by the Karola Glacier and experience its majestic majesty, misty clouds, and peerless appearance. The glacier is the geological history written by the flowing years and ice and snow, and it is a great work of art sculpted by time. Then return to Lhasa
