- Te Anau - Guests will be picked up from their Te Anau accommodation by the Fiordland Tours driver and hiking guide, before collecting any additional participants joining the tour.

This full-day adventure takes you to Lake Marian, a breathtaking alpine lake set in a hanging valley, encircled by majestic mountains. Guests are picked up from their Te Anau accommodation for a picturesque drive along the Milford Road, featuring photo stops in Fiordland National Park. The hike starts with a gentle stroll beside cascading waterfalls before ascending through lush forests of fuchsia, ribbonwood, and beech trees. Enjoy a delightful morning tea with fresh baking and refreshments at a scenic spot. The walk to Lake Marian and back takes approximately 5 hours, allowing time to explore the lake’s southern side. If weather impacts our time at the lake, alternative short walks along the Hollyford Valley will be explored.
