Circle Tour of Oahu - If you are visiting Oahu, don't miss the circle tour of the island. There are many other places to visit other than Honolulu. Of course, you also should not skip Pearl Harbor, but the rest of the island offers sea turtles, historical towns, surfing sites, temples and gorgeous views of the island. You will have an added bonus if you get Paul as a guide.

An amazing day of adventure - My husband and I were lucky enough to get Paul again for this tour. Paul took us to all of the amazing places. Like the small coffee shop in Wahiawa, where the coffee was amazing and the views were breath taking. Next stop was the Dole Plantation and the Helemano Plantation. Paul told us a great story about the 'rainbow tree'. Next, we stopped in Haleiwa where we picked up some fresh macadamia nuts and some Kona coffee. Then..this is were the real adventure began. After a great group lunch, it was time for our next stop. Our next stop was at the Waimea Valley (Pupukea Paumalu Forest Reserve). We walked through the rainforest (uphill the whole way), to see the Wailele waterfall. My husband and I took our time walking up to the waterfall and took our time returning to the bottom. Everything was just so beautiful. After leaving the park we drove through Kaawa, where Paul told us about homesteads and its background. We then stopped at the Kualoa Regional Park which was across from the Kualoa Ranch. Yes...the place where Jurassic Park was filmed. I was so geeked. There were mountains everywhere. So beautiful. Next stop was the Nu'uanu Pali State Wayside. The lookout was BEAUTIFUL. Keep in mind that I am terrified of heights, but that view...oh my God...that view. Paul told us the story of the Battle of Nu'uanu. Who knew..wait..Paul knew. Overall, I will say that this tour was on of the best tours I have ever been on. Paul was the BEST!!!

Review of circle island tour in Oahu from Aulani. - The tour was fantastic and our guide Lori was brilliant. There were only 2 of us on the tour and she made it really fun. The sights were incredible and photos don’t do it justice. However? There were a few sticking points! Firstly, our ticket said we were being picked up at 9.30 and we decided to head outside about 9.15 to find out tour guide waiting as she had been told it was 9am….the main issue was that she said she didn’t have a number to call us on (my mobile number was given at the time of booking) plus the fact that she said she wasn’t able to call international numbers…..how ridiculous for a tour company that must have visitors from all over the world. The next issue was that we were taken to the Dole plantation, but told we didn’t have time to do the train tour…..another ridiculous idea……time should have been built into the tour schedule for this…..like dangling a carrot, but not being able to eat it!! Time should have been shaved from a sit down lunch, which wasn’t necessary!! This was in no way a reflection on Lori, but the company as a whole.

Excellent overview of the variety of geography - The visit to the northern part of the island - the dramatic mountains and interesting coast. It gave us a more comprehensive view of the island! Our guide was also dedicated to making our tour successful.

Circle Island Adventure... - Circle Island Adventure tour is good but the Viator and the tour description only is confusing. On the website it says the tour only pickup from Ko'olina, it cost us $115 plus tip to go from Waikiki to Ko'olina.

So disappointed! - The entire experience was awful. I could not get anyone to confirm the pickup time for the trip, despite my repeated messages and calls. And because I couldn’t confirm the pickup time, I decided to drive out to the location one hour before the pickup time just to make sure we would be on time. On the way there I was finally able to get in touch with someone from viator who looked up our reservation and confirmed that we needed to be at the location by 9 am (tour start time was 9:30 am). Relieved, we sat in front on the hotel and waited. Around 9:20 am I began to call again, frantically worrying that somehow I’d misunderstood. I sat on hold as we continued to wait. I finally reached someone who then proceeded to research… only to discover the tour had been cancelled. I had received no call about the cancellation. No email. Nothing. He offered no explanation, just wanted to know if I would be available to try again the next day. In total I had to be on the call for 30 minutes to at least have my refund processed. It was a waste of my morning and a waste of a very precious day in Hawaii. I understand things happen but the complete lack of communication was shocking to me.
