Circle Island Tour: Explore O'ahu's Natural Beauty

Embark on the Majestic Circle Island Eco Tour from Waikiki and immerse yourself in the timeless natural wonders and rich history of O’ahu. Explore off the bus at each stop for a truly magical experience.

Duration: 9 hours
Cancellation: 24 hours
Highlights
  • Nu’uanu Pali - Our first stop of the day is at one of the most scenic and historic places in all of O’ahu. Learn the story about how King Kamehameha united all of the Hawaiian Islands under one monarchy as we visit the very spot where a famous battle took place.
  • Byodo-In Temple - As we drive along the Ko’olau mountain range we stop to discover a hidden gem tucked away from the main road. Byodo-In Temple was featured by National Geographic in “20 of the world’s most beautiful Buddhist temples,” noting its architectural details and awe inspiring surroundings.
  • Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - Famously known as “The Little Country Store On Your Way to the North Shore” Steve and Chrissy Paty started this as a roadside operation in 1987 and now, three decades later it’s a great place to try different local snacks and learn how to crack open some macadamia nuts as the chickens stand by watching hungrily hoping you drop a nut or two.
  • Pounders Restaurant - At Pounders, guests will have access to a greater variety of dining options, and after their meal, they can explore the retail shops at Hukilau Marketplace within the Polynesian Cultural Center. As an added bonus, Pounders is offering our guests a 10% discount at select stores
  • Waimea Valley - Join your E Noa tour guide on a short hike to a stunning 45-foot waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. Along the way, discover the rich history of Waimea Valley and learn why this sacred area holds deep cultural and spiritual significance.
  • Dole Plantation - We conclude our day with a scenic drive through the charming Haleiwa Surf Town and picturesque pineapple fields, leading to a stop at the famous Dole Plantation. Be sure to indulge in the world-renowned DoleWhip frozen dessert—a refreshing treat to enjoy under the warm Hawaiian afternoon sun!

Majestic Circle Tour with Kumu - Worth every penny and then some. Very comfortable seats in mini bus. No large crowds so more individualized attention. Driver was" Krazy "Kumu. He was a highlight of the experience with many stories and details about the island and places along the route. Was very attentive to all passenger's needs. Had each family tell where they were from so got to know others easily. Pounders was good for lunch. Poke bowl was good pork good and soup and salad good. Waiters were attentive and food brought out promptly. Waimia Falls was easy trek up to waterfall. We did not swim but others did. Most can do the trail. Take sunscreen and water. It was cloudy when we walked with bursts of sun but if all sunny might have been more taxing. Waterfall was ok kinda underwhelming as waterfalls go but still worth the experience. Dole has done whip outside vendors as well as inside. Was quick line. Had been to Byodo temple before so walked around looking at koi ponds but neat experience if first time and beautiful surroundings. Lots of people the day we went.Enjoyed Macadamia Farm especially free samples. I think honey roasted and cinnamon my favs a few others liked onion garlic which not a fan of. The coffee sample was nice too. Lines but move quickly. Support small business and buy a bag or two. Overall a worthwhile experience. Have been 4X before to Hale Koa and finally decided to do a tour .Enoa imo the best! Thanks again Kumu!!!

Go for the views, stay for the stories - What Rick’s Bar is to Casablanca, E Noa Tours with Chico’s Tour Bus (could use new shock absorbers) is to Oahu. Sure, any guide can get on a bus and recite travel info. But Chico’s amazing stories can only be heard on the E Noa Tours bus ride around Oahu, which lasts for – and requires and deserves – a full day from about 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Memorable insights into local sites, culture, history, and much else. Visits to a dramatic lookout point (Nu’uanu Pali), a peaceful shrine (Byodo-In Temple), macadamia nut farm, local island shrimp for lunch, the North Shore, an easy mile walk through a gorgeous botanical garden to Waimea Waterfalls (bathing opportunities) and the Dole pineapple plantation. Comfortable journey with plenty of stops and opportunities for food and refreshment. Plus stories of intrigue, daring, and local lore. Not to be missed!

The best driver in Oahu! - Aloha! Today my parents and I took the Oahu circle island tour via E Noa Tours. We were blessed to have the best driver I've ever had in all of my travels... Turk! Not only was he professional, but Turk taught us Hawaiian culture, language, and history. We all entered the tour as individual families and strangers, but by the end we were one big Ohana. I hope to keep in touch with Turk for his hospitality is unparalleled, as is his parking abilities! Mahalo! The Knight Family.
