Highlights

From the time you arrive at Germaine’s Luau and are greeted with a traditional lei, to the time we must say “Aloha”, you will be surrounded by Ohana (family) enjoying native Hawaiian cuisine and witnessing the true spirit of Hawaii and Polynesian culture. Not even the Keiki (children) will find a dull moment at our luau; they will be too busy watching the colorful and fast paced dances of the Samoans and enjoying delicious, fresh pineapple from the buffet. Of course, no luau would be complete without our most elegant Hawaiian dance, the Hula. This rich cultural experience is like no other in the world and will truly complete your Hawaiian experience.

Additional Information

Join us at Germaine’s Luau, located on our private sea-facing land under twinkling stars and towering coconut trees on West Oahu’s coast, where you can immerse yourself in an authentic Hawaiian luau that embodies the “Spirit of Old Hawaii”.

The main attraction of the performance is the Samoan Fire-knife dance, alternatively known as the ‘Tooth of Death’. Traditionally, this dance was conducted with a perilously sharp blade.

The entertainment also showcases the lively dances from the Pacific Islands of Tahiti, New Zealand, Samoa, and unmistakably, Hawaii.

  • All Events and times are weather permitting and are subject to change without notice
  • Wheelchair accessible - collapsible wheelchairs preferred
  • Most surfaces are wheelchair accessible, since we do have ramps to the Bar, the Restrooms, and the Ohana Gift Shop, and outside surfaces of the luau have harder sand
  • Motorized wheelchairs are allowed in most areas, however, Germaine’s Luau will not be responsible for any damages to the electric mechanism for the chair due to sand, as our luau is on a private beachfront property.

Luau with the grands. - We loved the show! This was our first time with this Luau. Food was great! I was disappointed in the available activities. There were none. Only a made flower for your hair and a henna tattoo. No welcome Mai Tai. One thing that was awesome was seeing the pig lifted from the ground. At the other Luaus we’ve been to, they did a ceremony but stopped short of lifting it. This was great to watch. Also we bought the Plumeria package and so much of our time was wasted standing in lines we didn’t have to. A little more instructions for us would have been nice. Worst part was our bus driver. He was 20 minutes late picking us up so we were late and missed some time. Because we were the last stop, we ended up in the back 4 seats. The speakers on the bus were terrible. We could not hear a word that was said by the driver. I would recommend the Luau for the food snd show but the one at Paradise Cove is better for activities. I have been to that one four times but wanted to try something different.

Not as expected plus some of the unexpected - Our driver was fantastic! The young people posing with us at the beginning very nice polite and welcoming. It went downhill from there. The people were not clear about where to sit. They basically missed telling us about the color coded tables. Therefore when our family tried to sit together we were forced to separate because we had different color bracelets. Wish we had known that when we made our reservation. Additionally and most importantly the food was awful and show less than impressive.

Kitty litter sand luau! - Great location on the beach HOWEVER… the food was substandard, drinks tiny and watered down plus there were ferrel cats walking around where we sat and ate. You could literally smell that the cats used the sand we ate in as their litter box. I know of 2 people that left with an allergic reaction to something (most likely either the fleas/ticks or whatever) in the sand. Will not be back.
