Highlights
  • Waikiki Beach - Our tour kicks off with complimentary pick-up at selected Waikiki hotels and meeting points. The adventure begins as our local drivers introduce themselves and take you on an unforgettable guided road trip around the island.
  • Diamond Head State Monument - Our first stop is Diamond Head Lookout. Diamond Head, an extinct volcano, is Hawaii’s most iconic landmark. We’ll take you to the scenic lookout facing the stunning south shore. Look for the Amelia Earhart marker, commemorating the first solo flight from Hawaii to North America in 1935.
  • Halona Blowhole - Continuing along the shoreline past Hanauma Bay and Koko Head Crater, we’ll show you a spectacular blowhole formed thousands of years ago by volcanic activity from Koko Crater. Molten lava flowed down from the crater, creating a lava tube. When waves crash onto this volcanic rock formation, the lava tube forces ocean water to spout like a geyser over 50 feet high. From this scenic point, you can also see layers of past volcanic activity.
  • Eternity Beach - Hidden below the highway from Koko Crater, you’ll find a beautiful “secret” beach. During low tides, people can be seen jumping off the lower cliffs and swimming in this secluded spot. Known as Eternity Beach, it was made famous by the 1953 movie “From Here to Eternity”.
  • Makapu’u Point - Navigating the narrow winding road from Sandy Beach and Halona Blowhole, we’ll reach the most stunning southern tip of the island. Along the way, you’ll witness spectacular cliffs dropping thousands of feet to the ocean due to volcanic activity. The view, with clear turquoise waters and Rabbit Island in the background, is perfect for Instagram selfies or family photos.
  • Waimanalo - Leaving the southern volcanic tip of Oahu, we’ll journey through the lush rainforest and Ko’olau Mountains along the windward coastline. You’ll see some of the most beautiful white sand beaches, starting with Waimanalo Beach, which stretches for miles with clear, turquoise-blue Pacific Ocean water.
  • Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - Tucked away in a lush rainforest, this popular attraction welcomes you with complimentary Kona coffee and free samples of macadamia nuts. Try all the different flavors and watch out for wild chickens hoping for dropped nuts. Enjoy the mesmerizing views of the Ko’olau Mountains as you leave.
  • Mokoli’i Island - This beautiful island, shaped like a hat, is also known as Mokoli’i Island. It sits across from the Kualoa Ranch Valley. The breathtaking view of the Ko’olau Mountain range at Chinaman’s Hat Beach Park will leave you in awe. If it rains overnight, you might see waterfalls cascading down. It’s a great spot for fun photos with the island appearing to sit on your head or in your hand.
  • Kualoa Ranch - We’ll pass by the iconic Kualoa Ranch Valley, where famous movies and TV shows like Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, King Kong, Lost, Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., and 50 First Dates were filmed.
  • Fumi’s Kahuku Shrimp - Lunch Time: Located on the famous North Shore of Kahuku, you can see hundreds of ponds farming jumbo shrimp. Here, you can taste the best local jumbo shrimp on the island. Scampi Garlic Butter and Spicy Garlic Butter Shrimp are highly recommended, but other food options are available if shrimp isn’t your preference.
  • Kahuku - Roadside tropical fruit stands are a must-see. After lunch, enjoy refreshing ice-cold coconut, dragon fruits, mangoes, jackfruits, or other seasonal tropical fruits.
  • Sunset Beach - One of the Triple Crown of Surfing beaches on the North Shore, known for big wave surfing that can reach over 40 feet high in winter. It’s also the best beach to watch the sunset. This is an optional stop if parking is available and local regulations permit.
  • Waimea Bay - Famous for the big wave surfing tournament called “The Eddie,” which occurs only when swells reach at least 60 feet. Named after lifeguard Eddie Aikau, look for the iconic 30-foot rock where people jump into the ocean after the winter swells subside.
  • Turtle Beach - This semi-secluded beach is a natural habitat for wild green sea turtles. Many major movies and TV shows have been filmed here. On this peaceful beach, you can watch the turtles, swim, sunbathe, snorkel, or simply relax. Green sea turtles are an endangered and protected species in Hawaii. Swimming or snorkeling is optional.
  • Haleiwa - We’ll drive through the historic town of Haleiwa, the gateway to the North Shore surfing beaches, known for its unique surf shops and laid-back atmosphere.
  • Dole Plantation - Finally, enjoy some fresh pineapple ice cream (Dole Whip). You may recognize the brand from its banana stickers. This large pineapple plantation is the only one in North America. We’ll drive by the vast pineapple fields and visit the welcome center. You can walk through the garden and see how different pineapple varieties are grown. A popular attraction and a great way to end our amazing road trip.

GREAT TOUR - Our guide fuhji was great. I loved the history, the information regarding people who owned the land and the individual town history amd of course the kings and queens of Hawaii. I truly hope this culture will last the test of time. I would recommend it the tour ..however swimming with turtles should be removed from the heading it is very misleading. If not for the guide I would be giving 4 stars but his leadership made up for the misleading heading

Great Scenery, good food, pineapple and turtles! - We really enjoyed seeing along the coastline without having to drive ourselves. Our driver Derrick was very nice and informative. He even played the Jurassic Park theme as we were passing Kuoala Ranch! This Of course my favorite was seeing the turtles, even if they were just swimming. This tour is also a good way to find out places that you may want to visit later on. I would highly recommend this tour if you are wanting to see a lot of Oahu without having to drive yourself, and deal with the traffic.

Good overview of the island - Maya was a great tour guide. He kept us informed, entertained and brought the group together by calling us out by name and keeping the conversation going even when stuck in traffic. I enjoyed the stops at the various places (macadamia nut farm, pineapple stand, coffee farm, etc.) but they all felt too rushed. We were allowed about 30 minutes at each, but by the time you used the facilities (there were always long lines) you barely had a few minutes to browse and do anything else. The beach in North Shore we stopped at was not the best (too many rocks made it unpleasant to try to get in). We spent a long time stuck in traffic due to construction but that is out of the tour operator control.

Tour from hell - So much rain that it was impossible to exit the vehicle on the last half of the tour. Seats so close that my knees kept rubbing on the seat in front on me. Couldn’t hear the speaker.

Terrible management - Both of our drivers were heaven sent. However, the management team lacks communication and compassion with their employees and customers. We were to meet at 7:50 am to board at 8:00 am, but we didn’t board until 8:30am and didn’t depart until nearly 9am. The bus kept beeping and the driver called his boss, but you could hear the disappointment in our driver that he had no support from his boss or manager. On our 3rd stop, the bus stopped running and we were stuck on the hwy for over an hour because the boss/manager didn’t want to send a replacement. When the bus finally arrived, it was smaller and we didn’t all fit. Our driver said a van was on its way and my family would be upgraded to a private tour. When the van finally arrived around 12:45 p, the driver asked where we wanted to go. We informed him that we purchased a full day tour and didn’t know the next stop. He said, “I don’t work for this company, but was told to pick you up as a favor.” He kept calling the owner and it would go straight to voicemail and he kept apologizing to us as if it was his fault. We didn’t get to do half of our tour because our driver had to do another job at 3 PM. He dropped us off at Waimea Falls, and was kind enough to pick us up after he was done with his prior arrangement. We didn’t get an apology from the owner or managing team or a partial refund for not being able to do all the stops that were planned on our itinerary.
