Layover solo surf lesson. - Had some time on a layover and wanted to knock out a quick bucket list item. The location was great. They have a real shop to meet at and stash your stuff, and the beach had perfect waves to learn on without feeling too bunny slope). I’m glad to know I can rent boards there too if I’ve got time again. Like the other great reviews, I lucked out with Max as my instructor, and he really is a great teacher! He gives you what you need when you need it without overcomplicating things, and he knows the surf on that beach really well. It’s great to have such a knowledgable and passionate teacher who makes it a fun experience! I’m in decent shape and did the hour and a half lesson, but my shoulders were shot from paddling out, so I ended up calling it after around 7-8 runs. If you’ve got time before you go, get that shoulder strength up! You’ll be better off for having it!

Amazing experience - Max was great with our daughters 14 and 12 years old. He took time to show them what to do and what was expected. They were up on the boards quickly and surfing. I highly recommend Max for you or your family.

Land lesson before hitting the water was amazing! - Very nice land lesson before we hit the water it was extremely helpful! Loved how the instructor picked a wave for us and told us when to stand up!

Surfing in Waikiki - Max was the best. Polite and very helpful. Made us all feel very safe and had a blast surfing w my 2 sons. I highly recommend doing this and if possible get Max as your instructor.

Love it - Maybe a lesson of 1h30 would be better because 1h pass really fast. You can easily do it in a session of 2 people but i would of done it alone to have more time and more waves and more time to practice because he has to split the time between 2 people. He explains really well and youll be able to surf the littles waves in the class for sure!

Amazing Surfing Adventure - Such a fun experience! Max was a GREAT teacher and walked us through everything including technique and safety tips. Max was with us the whole time in the water which made it a very comfortable and safe experience. Both me and my dad got up on the board multiple times and even got some footage of me surfing from a nearby drone. 10/10 would recommend this company and experience.

So glad we did it! - The whole experience was really good. The store staff were welcoming and friendly. Our instructor Max was very experienced and was informative from the in-store part of the lesson right through to being on the water. My 21 year old daughter can't stop saying it was the best thing she has ever done. Even for my 58 year old self, it was a great experience!

Fantastic experience. Everyone was surfing within 30 minutes of the start. - Max was a fantastic teacher. He not only got them up on their boards surfing small waves immediately but also taught them surf etiquette. Lastly, he was able to adapt his teaching style to the individual. Highly recommend this surf class.
