- Turtle Canyon - Our tour takes our guests along the beautiful coast of Waikiki, where we anchor at the well-known snorkel location called Turtle Canyons. This reef is known for the abundance of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that come to get their shells cleaned by the surrounding reef fish. The turtles frequently come up to the surface to breathe, where they can be seen by spectators who are both in the water and relaxing on the boat.
In addition to turtles, you might see other local marine life. This includes various types of reef fish, eels, octopus, urchins, rays, and dolphins. Also with a chance at seeing Humpback Whales during Dec-April.
Our crew is highly experienced with guiding guests around Turtle Canyons and maximizing their experience with the wildlife. When you feel satisfied with your in-water experience, hop back onboard our boat to enjoy the sun with complementary beverages and snacks.
Our Honu are protected by the State and Federal Governments, which means that you are not allowed to touch, harass, chase, or ride the turtles. We ask that you please enjoy their beauty from at least 10 feet away. Mahalo!

Highly recommend, super fun and professional! - We were so impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Top notch, very informative and educated about the tour. We were concerned that the time was not sufficient but literally were exhausted by the time the tour was up. Totally recommend the tour and sure to do it again soon! 😊

Great Experience - Both Hollie and Preston (I believe that was the captains name) were fantastic. They gave us a run down at the beginning and also when we got to the destination. There were approximately 5-6 boats there when we arrived but Hollie took us to the living room which was away from other guests which was nice. The 50 mins that we were allotted went by so fast but the experience was breathtaking. I highly recommend doing this!

Daughter’s 1st snorkel with turtles! - Being in a smaller group was the best, we saw lots of turtles and fish! Our guides were friendly and personable. One of the highlights of our trip!

The best tour ever!!! - We were the only couple on our tour which was AMAZING. Our guides were fantastic and heard there were dolphins in the area so they took us to see them before snorkeling! Holly showed us a lot of turtles and fish while also keeping us away from the crowds of other tours. It was almost like the crowds weren’t there she was so good at what she did. If your group is 6 people or less you MUST book this tour. We loved it!

Book it! You won't regret it! - This is an incredible experience that you don't want to miss! Booking was easy and affordable. Preston met us early at the dock (where you can find free parking!) and helped us get into the boat. Holly was our snorkel guide and she was amazing. Turtle Canyon is right off Waikiki Beach in the open ocean, you jump right into the water and immediately start seeing masses of tropical fish and the sea turtles come right up to the surface next to you. I would highly recommend going to Turtle Canyon with Island Splash Tours. Thanks for an unforgettable experience Holly & Preston!

Favorite part of our trip so far! - Holly and Preston were our guides for mine and my cousins snorkeling experience, they were absolutely AMAZING! It was more private, which we loved. The views were beautiful and there were so many turtles and beautiful fish. It was our first time snorkeling and they were super helpful and knowledgeable on everything! The experience was amazing, and I would recommend them to anyone! 10/10
