Itinerary: The day begins with a hotel pickup in Waikiki between 7:30 and 8:30 AM, or you can check in at our shop at 9:00 AM if you have your own transportation. You’ll meet your kayak guide and naturalist, and be equipped with all necessary gear, including life jackets (PFDs), lockers, dry bags, and snorkel gear. After a detailed briefing on the area, basic kayaking instructions, and the day’s schedule, you’ll walk the kayaks to the beach on carts (about a 5-minute walk) and paddle to the Mokulua Island sea-bird sanctuaries, which takes about an hour one-way. Upon arrival at the island’s deserted beach, you’ll embark on an eco-tour and tide-pool hike to Queen’s Bath. Next, you’ll paddle through the turquoise waters of Lanikai Beach, go snorkeling, and enjoy a handmade deli sandwich with drinks and healthy snacks. You’ll have the opportunity to kayak surf if conditions allow, explore the beaches, or go for a swim. You’ll return to our shop around 2:30 PM, where you can use our shower facilities and change into dry clothes. You’ll be on your way by 3:00 PM, or our driver will return you to your hotel by around 3:30 PM. Our Beach Center Shop offers accessories like sunscreen, UV shirts, and waterproof cameras.

What’s Included: We provide all kayaking gear, including life jackets, paddles, backrests, dry bags, island landing permits, and snorkel gear. Lunch includes a deli sandwich with drinks and healthy snacks. Vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary restrictions can be accommodated if requested at the time of booking. We also offer secure lockers for your valuables.

What to Bring: Guests will get wet! Wear your bathing suit under your clothes for check-in. Footwear that can get wet is required. Towels and a change of clothes are recommended. We have a full-service water sports shop with everything you might need for your trip.

Restrictions: This tour is ideal for fit and adventurous kayakers. No experience is necessary but is recommended, or a moderate level of physical fitness is required. Guests will need to transport their kayak to and from the beach using a cart (a 5-10 minute walk).

Awesome! - Amazing! Tommy was phenomenal- so knowledgeable, patient and kind. The paddling was challenging at times but so fun. We got to snorkel a bit and see a WWII wreck in the middle of the bay. Moku Nui was closed because of a newborn seal pup so couldn’t land there but the modified trip was still fabulous. Highly recommend!!

Exhilarating! - Mike and Alicia were friendly and knowledgeable guides and the scenery was gorgeous! I had forgotten that they asked about food needs until they pulled out a lovely salad for me in place of the sandwiches everyone else ate. It was a good day.

Hope To Be Back! - We had a wonderful time on the twin islands tour with Mike. He was fun, knowledgable, and made us feel comfortable with the experience from start to finish. We saw sea turtles, monk seal, and lots of other fish. His stories and history about the islands were great to give us the historical and cultural context. Make sure you jump in the Queen's Bath- once in a lifetime opportunity!

Safe and knowledgeable guide, beautiful and fun trip! - Very well run and good communication. Our guide Mike was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the area and some history too. Beautiful! I highly recommend the guided tour. It was a work out for us without really any ocean kayak experience but totally worth it!

Kayaking Tour - My husband and I took a kayaking tour to the twin islands. Tupre was a great tour guide! He made the tour enjoyable by sharing stories about the island and taking pictures. He showed us animals and plants, giving us interesting info about them. He knows the island and the water really well. He even offered to go in the water to find my husband’s phone, which fell while kayaking . I recommend this tour.

Amazing Guide & a Fun Adventure - Tupre was an awesome guide, very friendly, professional, accommodating & knowledgeable. Tour is fun but tiring, kayaking was a blast but snorkeling opportunities was unavailable due to weather and a volatile location.
