Over 400 of Kalanikupule’s soldiers were driven off the cliff to their deaths 1,000 feet below.
  • Byodo-In Temple - Nestled in a lushly landscaped paradise, the temple grounds feature wild peacocks, Japanese koi carp, a large reflecting pond, meditation niches, and small waterfalls. Featured in TV series like Hawaii Five-O, Magnum, P.I., and Lost, visitors describe it as beautiful, peaceful, and restful.

Tremendous experience in Nikko - We had an all day tour of Nikko with Yumi Aoyama on April 5, 2024. She was fantastic. Our experience with her actually started 2 months before our tour. When we booked the tour, we received an email from Yumi asking if there was anything in particular that we wanted to see and if we had any questions. Over the course of the next 2 months we worked with Yumi to custom tailor our tour. Any questions I had were answered very quickly and were always spot on. On the day of the tour, she met us at the train station and took very good care of us. She was extremely knowledgeable, giving us lots of wonderful insight on what we were seeing and answering all our questions. Since it was a very cold day, she even stopped and bought hot pads to keep our hands warm. Our Nikko experience would not have been anywhere near as educational and informative without Yumi. I would definitely book with her again in the future.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would - We are first time visitors to Hawaii and are staying in Waikiki. We booked this tour to get an idea of what the rest of Oahu had to offer. Wow were we blown away by this day. The day started at 7:30 with a very efficient checkin/pickup process. And then we were off. The tour was exactly as described by the operator only the descriptions don’t do Oahu justice. The entire island is one gem after another and our driver took us to all of them and our guide provided non-stop commentary. Our guide was Kanoa and he is local and provided historical context for everything. The only low mark was the disappointment that is the Dole Plantation. The good news is that we didn’t waste precious time to visit this spot on a separate trip. As part of this tour it was OK and did allow us to get a Dole Whip! The tour ended up dropping us off at 6:30 so it was a full 11 hour day. I could have gone on if Kanoa had more stories to tell!

Pablo and Tanya do Oahu Nature Tour - The Ultimate Circle Island Tour was a full day tour - Brandon our guide was knowledgeable on all of the wildlife on the island of Oahu his background complimented the stops and he was able to give us a lot the history of the island, many things to see, plenty of breaks and opportunities to purchase souvenirs and snacks along the way.

Fine experience, but ignore the global warming propaganda - It was a wonderful experience, only marred by Brandon's repeating spouting of the global warming / climate change hoax. If we wanted to hear radial leftist propaganda, we'd have gone to a Democratic Party meeting. We're tall, so the seat spacing was tight. We both thought the very best part was the visit to the park with the little waterfall and a great variety of lush plants.

Some positive, some negative - Tour guide Claudia did a great job, but I was very disappointed we were on such a large bus which took forever to get off and on. Several places we just whizzed by without even an opportunity to take a photo. Lunch was awful, at a very crowded place.
