Amazing tour, a bit of everything! - The tour was amazing, 100% recommend. We got to Hierve el Agua before it was busy, enjoyed an optional hike and a swim in the natural pools all before breakfast! The rug making family-run business and the mezcaleria farm/factory were both so interesting (plus we loved the mezcal tasting at the end!). Our guide Clay was fantastic and we felt very catered for!

Great day out and the late departure means you miss the crowds - Ariana the tour organiser is brilliant. There were 7 of us in the minibus. We went to Hierve el Agua, a family textile workshop and a Mezcal distillery. Going at Noon meant Hierve el Agua was not busy, rather than the typical tours. Textile place was really interesting with lots of beautiful (albeit pricey) no obligation products (rugs, shawls, bags, etc). The Mercal process was less interesting, but the tasting was really good.

Easy - July 2023 - Was a very nice and relaxing tour. Highly recommend. There is a lot of food stands at the waterfall so no need to pack a lunch.

Hierve el agua tour combine with distillery and weavers - I went with a group in mini bus with private hired guide. About 1hr drive. First he gave us full information prior to arriving as we were told he was not actually allowed to guide us in area. He instructions and information were clear and good. I hiked to 3 advantage points but not to waterfall. It was very hot very exposed. The 3 pools are all good. I dipped in 2. Water was cold. Once you got in lovely just a quick short breath to get in. Great views as so high. Lots of photo opportunities. We were quite early in morning but still a lot of people arriving. No time limit so can bring food and picnic if you have time. Just remember to take water down to area. Lots of vendors but all up top outside which is nice because no o e pushing their wares. We then visited a weavers family. Beautiful but I'm beginning of travels so didn't buy but others did. Then onto a distillery for mercer. They were generous in process demonstration and tasting. Bottles were purchased. It's definitely worth the falls for sure.

Good with an issue - My wife and I had a good experience with a problem. We were supposed to meet with our driver at 12:20 and he ended up arriving one hour late. During the wait, the company kept in touch with us via WhatsApp and that helped reduce the anxiety. On a similar note, the driver was polite and also kept us informed via WhatsApp. The vehicle was nice and well kept. And everything went smoothly once we were picked up. Given the delay, us and the rest of the passengers asked for certain concessions and the driver and company agreed. Overall a good experience.

A true mexican experience... - We were 3 in total so that looked like a good deal with no stress. Sadly once arrived to Hierve el Agua the third guy went crazy (drugs probably?), he started running around jumping on high edges and harrassing people. After they cathed him in front of our disbelief we had to go to the police station where we spent 1 hour without any information of what was happening. The guy came back into the shuttle looking silent and terrorized. After all was fixed we managed to visit the mezcal factory but had to miss the textile factory because we were too late. Overall the driver was nice but our experience was rather stressfull
