An Eye Opening Experience - What a great way to see and learn about the different types of street art in Oaxaca. Our guide took us through three neighborhoods, highlighting the differences in the art found in each and why those differences exist. We also learned about how the art relates to many of the issues facing the country and the city through the use of symbolism and juxtaposition. One of the highlights was a visit to a workshop engaged in producing the art itself. We cannot recommend this tour enough. Please sign up early as it sells out quickly. You will not be dissapointed!!

A Good Way to Spend a Half Day - My guide was friendly and knew his stuf. He showed me all around downtown Oaxaca, stopping to admire murals, grafitti, and a few galleries. You learn about the history of the city as expressed by its artists. Enjoy!

Great Art Trip - Great trip. Met at 8:40 am. Ride was from 9-13:00. Paula was our guide. She was fantastic. Extremely informative on the history and politics and street art of Oaxaca. We saw a lot of street art/murals in two neighborhoods. Visited a block print gallery, and a nice coffee shop. Gorp type snacks and water provided. Bikes were mountain bikes of variable quality. Some with disk brakes. But the bikes are not for exercise, but simply to get around town. You do not ride far at all. You do not ride up hills of note. Not a strenuous trip, but you are in the sun a bit. A second guide serves as a "traffic guide". This trip was super informative. The art fantastic. Paula great. Ask for her. She is really passionate about being an informative guide. I will strongly recommend this trip to my friends.

Easy and fun bike tour in 3 amazing Oaxaca neighborhoods - We recently went on a nic3 bike tour of Oaxaca's street art with Diego, from Coyote Adventures. Although Oaxaca's traffic can be perplexing, the tour company provides a lead rider as well as another rider who stops car traffic to help the group cross safely as needed. The street art is wonderful and the explanations fascinating. The company sent an e-guide the day before, which provided excellent explanations of the neighborhoods that were to be featured and spots we would be stopping at. We didn't get to go to all the spots listed in the guide, which was a bit disappointing, but the stops that we did make were great: art studio, tejate, and more. In spite of the heat, Diego took time to provide explanations. One detail: not enough of a chance to ask questions. Diego is passionate about responsible and educational tourism; we appreciated his honest appraisal which gave us food for thought. For a free street art guided walk, I would supplement with Oaxaca By Locals which features even more murals and additional context.

Fun way to spend a morning in Oaxaca! - Diego was our guide. He was terrific. We learned more about the history of Mexico during this half day tour than in all the week we’ve been in Oaxaca. It was so pleasant to ride around the town on bikes seeing the different murals and street art, plus having a break in a lovely park to enjoy a local drink.

Murals of Oaxaca - A gentle pace was set with frequent stops for fascinating stories and explanations by our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We were told so many interesting things about life in the region too. A highlight was a stop at an art studio.

A great way to get to know the city, its art and its history - The tour was just amazing. Our guide Diego made the connection between the art and artists presented and Oaxacan and Mexican social and political history and realities. It was a fun, informative and engaging tour. We took tons of pictures of the beautiful artwork and had the chance to visit workshops and local small businesses. I highly recommend it and hope I can do other coyote tours in the future.

Simply the best! - This bike tour has been the highlight of our trip so far. Diego has a depth of knowledge and passion for the art and its social impact. We walked away having learned so much history, seen so such beautiful art and had an expanded understanding of the culture. Biking is a wonderful way to see the city. Truly could not recommend enough!

Learning about the art and history of Oaxaca - Diego was very patient with our group of tourists and his knowledge of the art, history and current politics of Oaxaca city was great. The pieces and neighbourhoods he took us to were beautiful. I would go on another tour with Coyote next time in Oaxaca.

Too long - This bike tour started off well. The bikes overall were good but the gears on my bike didn't work well. The murals in the first neighborhood was beautiful and the narration was excellent. The second neighborhood was OK- we saw a couple of murals and walked around without a guide, who was watching the bikes. There was minimal discussion about the murals. We spent about 35 minutes on a "break" where we could buy things in a gift shop. In the third neighborhood we did not see any murals, but spent another 35 minutes in a print shop where we could buy things. We returned about 40 minutes before the scheduled ending time, which was fine with me because I was hot and sore. I would have preferred a 2 hour tour with more murals and no gift shop stops. Warning: if you are not a great bike rider it is very difficult to ride on the cobblestone streets and you need to be comfortable riding on city streets with many cars and trucks.
