A great day trip - The town of Everglades City where we met the excursion, is a hidden gem, peacefully tucked away on the southwestern tip of Florida. The process of paying and checking in was fluid and quick and even while waiting on the dock for the adventure to begin, we were treated to dolphins swimming around. The captain and crew were extremely knowledgeable about the Everglades and animals in it and treated everyone onboard to a wonderful day of nature mixed with history.

A Very Informative and Relaxing Tour - It was a very informative and relaxing experience. Dwayne helped us understand lots about the Everglades. We did see dolphins. We couldn't believe how fast the tour went, it was just so interesting. Everyone was great. We would definitely go again.

Great Boat Tour! - We had a great boat tour out into the Everglades National Park. Our boat captain was very nice and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of Everglades City and the stone crab industry there. The birding wasn’t great, but we saw a number of Atlantic Bottle-nosed Dolphins a few of which led our boat for awhile giving us close looks. We learned a lot about dolphin behavior from the captain. We also heard about how some of the ten thousand islands were formed. All in all a great trip on a beautiful afternoon.

Was OK - Although it advertised a National Park guide etc, it was just the Captain. Good view of the islands and town of Everglades City. Not much effort to see wild life. It was OK and learned a lot about the area but did see much in the way of wildlife

Everglades National Park Boat Tour of 10,000 Islands - The captain and co-captain (Jessica) were friendly and were very personable. However, we were disappointed in the boat tour itself. What we expected was slowing down at various points specifically in the 10,000 islands area to see wildlife and receive information about what we were seeing there. What we got was an explanation of Everglades City buildings along the river, followed by a fast boat trip through the 10,000 islands without stopping/slowing down, out to the mouth of the Gulf of Mexico and return, with minimal explanation as to what we were seeing. The captains indicated that all passengers should watch for dolphins, but none were spotted. Not the crew's fault, but disappointing. One more note: the boat had a mechanical problem at the mouth of the Gulf which stopped the tour for 1+ hours. The incident was resolved professionally, but it resulted in a substantial loss of tour time causing some of our dissatisfaction. We simply went straight back to the dock quickly. There were apologies, but no compensation for the sizable chunk of tour time lost.
