Highlights
  • Oia - Our usual first stop is the picturesque village of Oia, a place of unmatched beauty and tranquility. Built on the slope of the Caldera, it is truly the quintessence of what Santorini has to offer: glorious skies meeting endless blue seas, traditional Cycladic houses along idyllic footpaths and an entirely immersive atmosphere – a generously rewarding experience for the visitor.

  • Firostefani - Another stop on this tour is Firostefani, the ‘crown of Fira’. Taking its name from its elevated position, this settlement is blessed with truly breathtaking views of the island. This location is also home to the Blue Domed Church, a prominent icon of the island of Santorini.

  • Ιερά Μόνη Προφήτου Ηλία Θήρας - Perched on the summit of the highest mountain of the island (600 meters above sea) and dating back to 1711, it is a place of great historical interest and indeed a rewarding one in terms of stunning views beyond description.

  • Megalochori - Traditional Village - The authentic old settlement of Megalochori, the ‘big village’, awaits visitors with its warm and inviting atmosphere. Dating back to the 17th century, it is one of the most picturesque villages of the island featuring historical mansions with inner courtyards, traditional architecture and pirate hideaways.

  • Perissa Black Sand Beach - Black Beach, or Perissa, is actually the end of the long black sand beach of Perivolos and, it is the busiest and most famous beach in Santorini. After enjoying the clear waters and impressive black sand, we shall try the local specialties available at the many seaside restaurants.

  • Red Beach - Standing true to its name, the distinctive Red Beach features a remarkably imposing odd formation of red volcanic rock dramatically contrasting the magnificent blue of the sea – a truly unique sight to behold.

  • Venetsanos Winery - The island is also famous for its wine-making tradition. This private tour makes a stop at Venetsanos Wineryand allows the visitor to seize the opportunity to try the splendid local varieties Santorini is famous for.

Delightful day in Santorini - Our guide, Costas, picked us up and a delightful day began. We walked through Oia and enjoyed the beautiful views despite the cruise ship visitors packing the town. As the drive to Oia began Costas began sharing all sorts of tidbits about the islands history, the caves we passed and the vegetation. His passion for Santorini and its history was apparent all day. My two favorite parts to the trip were the tour of the village of Megalochori and our views of the Caldera at the red beach. Costas was an exceptional guide full of information. There was no break for lunch in the five hour tour but we stopped twice for water and snacks. At the second stop my sister and I bought stuff for a light lunch and ate it sitting on rocks at the red beach Caldera. Altogether this was an amazing day. We saw such a great representation of life in Santorini and learned so much. Costas was a terrific guide.

3 hours of amazing views - We had an opportunity to do a tour with the cruise we were on but this would only include a shuttle to Oia where we would be dropped off and then a shuttle back. Instead a group of us booked with these guys and am so grateful. First, they were so responsive when I contacted them and answered all my questions quickly. They understood we only had about 3 hours in port and assured me they would get us back in time to board our ship. Jenny was our tour guide and meet us as we got off the tender. She was pure joy from the get go. She listened to what we wanted and understood our time constraints so we immediately set off. Her enthusiasm for the sites and views was amazing. She also enjoys photography and took many fabulous photos of our group for us. In the end we did go to firostefani, Oia and Imerovigli topped off with a quick stop at a winery where we did a bit of shopping. The night was absolutely beautiful and we got many spectacular photos. We learned some of the history and wished we could have spent more time with Jenny on the island of Santorini. I will definitely hang on to her information and book with her again if I go back. So, so glad we did not do the ship excursion. No comparison!!!

A must in Santorini! - Booking the tour and customising was easy and Stelios was very quick to respond to messages. We are staying in Oia so we were able to change the tour inclusions and visit a beach. Stelios was very helpful that we also booked our transfers with him and he gave us a discount as we were there on off season. Stefano our tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us a great overview of the history, culture and life on the island. Thank you so much for looking after us!

An Amazing Experience - There was a group of 12 of us who didn’t know much about the island or where to go. Stelio’s however drove us around for 5 hours and we got to explore the island! We explored beautiful locations that he highly recommended for us to see. Each one was beautiful and unique in their own way. We took pictures, shopped, ate at amazing restaurants, and pulled over for some breathtaking views. We had such a great time and he told us cool facts about the island as well. The next day, we asked if he was able to drive us around once more and he was there within two hours. We had another amazing day and he even gave each of us a little souvenir. I highly recommend santorini tours!

BEST DAY EVER!!!!!! DO NOT PASS THIS UP! - This company came recommended from an NCL FB group and it way surpassed anything we could have ever imagined! From the moment our guide Jenny met us at the top of the cable until the end of our day. We literally conquered EVERYTHING on the Island that we wanted to see. Jenny LOVES to take pictures so we got some phenomenal pictures. She was beyond lovely and knowledgeable and we thouroughly enjoyed spending our day with her. The best part was we had a private van with a driver and Jenny! So, there was no time wasted to find parking, etc. End of story is, take this tour and plan accordingly with time as the wait both ways for the cable car is LONG.....we took the donkey trail down which was an experience! Make sure to wear comfy shoes!

Donkeys and best views. - Definitely one of the most scenic landscapes in the world, made even better by the excellent guide that showed us all parts of the island with plenty of local information to answer all our questions. She took us to a vineyard at the end of the island with a local restaurant with views to die for. Enjoyed taking the donkeys (mules) to the top from the old port as lineups for the cable car up to 1.5 hours.

Santorini Is a Garbage Hole - Santorini is a garbage hole port infact you can see trash all along your bus ride everything from food garbage cigarettes butts to dirty diapers never picked up. Because their garbage service they pay for doesn’t come pick it up! You have to climb a donkey dung path of cobblestone as you watch people slip and fall and hurt themselves or you can get on a starved dehydrated abused donkey who hasn’t been given water in 100 degree heat one collapsed right next to me and when I tried to give him water the guy said no. You get to the top where the post card picture you see is a postage stamp of small area Not worth it and the best part was the buses don’t take you down all the way your other option is a two hour wait at 100° heat for a cable car or the half an hour walk down with the donkey dung really slippery and fall and watch people hurt themselves …..pick another island Santorin is a piss hole place with rude Greeks trying to rip you off…….I paid for the tour and they would not drive us down to port making up some stupid excuse that we either needed to walk or wait the 2 hour line in the heat for a cable car that only takes 10 people at a time with a line that stretches a mile long roughly 2 hour wait….
