This excursion provides a remarkable chance for visitors staying in Heraklion, Crete, to take a trip to Santorini and explore the island for a whole day.
Our initial stop is at Oia. Here, we will stroll through the village, behold the stunning vista of the Caldera, and snap some memorable pictures!
Next, we visit the Blue Dome in Firostefani. This historic 16th-century Greek Catholic church is widely recognized for its three bells, distinctive blue dome, and its exceptional view of the Caldera. Proceeding southward, we will take in the sights at renowned locations such as Profitis Ilias, the island’s tallest peak almost 580 meters above sea level, the striking Black Beach of Perissa, where we’ll have lunch by the ocean. Swimming is also an option for the adventurous! We will then see the well-known Red Beach, located near Akrotiri Village, formed several millennia ago due to numerous volcanic eruptions.
After a memorable day out exploring the island, our guests will be returned to the Santorini harbor to catch their boat back to the city of Heraklion in Crete.
