Pyrgos Kallistis - Pyrgos, one of the ancient villages, presents a glimpse into the picturesque traditional settlements of yesteryears. As the former capital of the island, its narrow enchanting pathways offer an exploration of this remarkable locale, leading to the summit of Pyrgos where the 1660-built Church of Virgin Mary and the old Kasteli castle stand. There’s also a chance to dine at a Greek tavern in Pyrgos’ main square.
Profitis Ilias - At Santorini’s peak, you’ll find one of the island’s most notable monasteries, constructed by two monks in 1711. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to sample the monks’ local products and marvel at and capture the breathtaking panoramic view.

Established in 1947 by the Venetsanos clan, it earned the distinction of being Santorini’s inaugural industrial winery. Notably, its unique architectural design leveraged gravity, a groundbreaking approach in an era of limited access to electricity and other energy sources. Constructed in an unconventional fashion, the winery was built from top to bottom, exemplifying innovative engineering.
