Olive Oil and Wine Tasting - The oil tasting and wine tasting at Frantoio Gargiulo was 5 stars plus!! It was delicious olive oil with about 30 different types to try. The wine tasting on the terrace gave the best view and an even better experience. The Super Mario Brothers (Mario and Luigi) took great care of us engaging in conversation and providing information on the wines and food. This has been one of the best experiences so far in Sorrento and I highly recommend it!

Trip of a lifetime - This was amazing! We loved hearing about how olive oil is made. The olive oil tasting was fantastic. Lunch on the rooftop with a wine tasting was wonderful. We absolutely Mario our server. The limoncello tasting was a beautiful ending to a wonderful day. I would absolutely recommend this tour. Don’t forget to put your order in and they will deliver it to your home. We just got ours. Cannot wait to try some.

Loved this quick excursion- don’t miss out! - Loved the tour and learning about harvesting olives and making olive oil. I’ll never complain about the price again. Tasted several varieties and were able to send some home. Can’t wait for the box to arrive!!! Should have chosen the option with lunch sine the views were amazing from there.

Best place to go - What an amazing place ! Great food, wind and olive oil. Our Wine Sommelier was very informative on our wine and showed us how to properly hold our wine glass. Views are astonishing. So glad we found this gem ! You can book wine tasting, olive oil tasting or a cooking class. No matter what you do, you will not be disappointed. Only problem is deciding what to take home with you. ( they also ship)

Frantoio Gargiulo - Our family visited this factory for the 3rd time since 2018. Always a good time, tasting and buying products, which they ship for you. This time, they have added a restaurant with great food, wine tasting, and a great view of the Gulf of Sorrento. Highly recommend this visit .

One of our best experiences in Sorrento - An excellent time visiting. We took a quick tour around the property and processing area before sitting down to sample their olive oils with bread bits. They are very generous offering many choices and letting you take your time. It was beautiful weather so we decided to splurge and try the wine tasting with lunch at the rooftop restaurant What a great experience!! Tried 4 wines paired with 4 small plate prepared by the chef. The wine "samples" were more like glasses(with a couple of refills). Our waiter/sommelier was a lot of fun, joked around and took his time. We highly recommend this visit if you have a few hours to enjoy the view. You can get transportation up the hill from Sorrento, but we saw that it was not far from our hotel, so we decided to walk up the steep hill, not far but rough. Going down was quick from what I remembers. Thanks to the whole staff for being so welcoming.

Olive oil tasting - Guide was very personable. Patient and did not feel rushed. Took photos of myself and daughter. No high pressure selling which probably buy more! Highly recommend!!

One of a kind experience - Where do I start with this place, We hiked all the way up from Sorrento which was a nice little uphill hike on the stone alley. When we got up to Gargiulo, we joined a group on a fantastic Olive Oil tasting. We ended up buying around 7 bottles to bring back home because there were so many options. They also do shipping if you need to order more. We then did a tour to see the machinery and the way they process Olive Oil. Very unique and interesting. Lastly we decided to stay a little longer and do a wine tasting with their head chef and cooking class instructor Claudio!! He was absolutely amazing and really made our experience one of a kind. He gave us a few bites with our tasting as well as talked about some of his techniques. We are grateful for this experience and highly recommend this stop for anyone who is staying near Sorrento. Make sure you tell Claudio we said Hi!!!

Skip the farm tour - The tasting was good. The tour of olive grove and farm was just okay. The different olive oils were good but not great. They did have a lot of variety.
