Great day trip to Omoa - Beach and Spanish fort. Nice, clean and safe beach. Perfect for families. Beachfront restaurants and lodging. Spanish fort was impressive. I've toured colonial ear forts around the Caribbean basin. This one close to top of my list. Tour guide matched me with a local guide for the fortress. Very knowledgeable.

Best Tour Guide period - Kerim at iCatracho Tours is the best tour guide you'll ever have! From your arrival at the airport and back to the airport you'll be in good hands. He knows every part of Honduras and will make sure you have the best time. I booked this Omoa daytrip and the fort was still closed due to COVID-19, so Kerim worked with me on other options. He took me out to see Copan, knew all the best places to eat...where the best coffee is, etc. He's friendly and speaks great English. He is the one and only Honduras tour guide for any foreigner wishing to experience this beautiful country. I had a great time, I felt safe and secure the entire time and look forward to returning to see more of Honduras!

Incredible from start to finish - I can't write enough here about how awesome Kerim is as a tour guide. He exceeded all expectations and made my trip to Honduras so much better. He speaks great English and knows every part of Honduras like the back of his hand. The fort of Omoa was closed still so he came up with many other great ideas. He will also help with transport to and from the airport...and/or take you to any spots you desire such as Copán Ruinas and he makes sure you are comfortable, safe and enjoying yourself 100%. I encourage everyone to come visit this beautiful country and please use Kerim at iCatracho Tours. I flew in from the USA and the process at the airport was a breeze, just make sure to get tested 72 hours prior to flying. Hit me up with any other questions, ryanhardy12@gmail.com.

Just the best - I have visited Honduras twice, and at the first time in 2017 I was lucky enough to have Kerim as my guide. We did then a day trip to Pulhapanzac waterfalls combined with kayaking at Yoya lake. It was a great experience, and having been in Honduras once it was much easier to make another trip in April 2018, especially as I knew that I would have an excellent guide in Kerim. This time we did two day trips, to Comayagua visiting Taulabe cave on the way, and to Omoa Cortes fortress. Comatagua is a charming town, formerly the Capital of Honduras. There is a beautiful cathedral and an interesting local museum. Taulabe cave is amazing and there are stairs and lights. In Omoa there is a former Spanish fortress with local guides, and in the village many restaurants specializing in seafood. Honduras has a bad reputation but all I can say after two visits that it's a beautiful country, the people are friendly and Honduras dererves a chance: But as long as there are only few tourists you can get a very personal service.
