A wonderful educational experience. The opportunity to listen to owners life journey that wove his story with history of how he acquired his first gypsy horse was mesmerizing! My take away was owners with “hearts” that match the “hearts” of the gypsy horses. The opportunity to be up close with the horses was a special treat. The grounds at the ranch are serial with tall oak trees throughout as you walk the paths between each corral where these beautiful horses are safely kept. I fell in love with these special horses. What a treasure it would be if one had the means to own one. A big part of the owners story is learning about the culture of the Romani people told through his experiences with meeting them and his pursuit of these magnificent horses. I so appreciate that this kind family has made possible an up close opportunity to meet them and their family of gypsy horses. I hope some day the owner is open to being a guest lecturer at The Villages. His story about his journey of bringing the gypsy horses to America needs to be shared in person with as many as possible.

My husband and I were looking for an "off the beaten path" outing on a Saturday. We found a memorable experience at Gypsy Gold Horse Farm. The horses are spectacular and the mission of the the owners of this farm is heartwarming. Best of all you can bring carrots to feed and pet many of the horses. (Do not feed the babies as they have no teeth to chew the carrots) Go if you have the opportunity. You will enjoy it.

Presentation was too long and hard to follow. Would have liked to hear more specifics about the horses. More hands on with the animals would be good.
