The history talk is very interesting, informative and entertaining. The staff and owners are delightful. The animals are amazing!

Amazing introduction to the Gypsy Vanner horse heritage in the U.S. and how it began by Dennis Thompson (owner of Gypsy Gold Horse Farm). He made a trip to Great Britain with his wife years ago and saw this beautiful horse not seen to them in America. The rest is history and a life changing experience for Dennis, who has always loved animals. We arrived for our 10 a.m. morning tour about 50 minutes early and they shared with us that one of their horses literally just gave birth to a baby Gypsy Vanner horse. We got to see this baby colt stand for the very first time within the hour of being born and also saw mamma horse expel the fetal membrane (placenta) shortly after birth. This is not something many people get to experience. I was so happy Gypsy Gold Farms allowed us to be a part of this newborn's standing and first steps. Thank you so much Dennis, Erin, and Taylor for making our day! We loved your facility and will tell everyone to come visit your farm.

Great tour! The history of the farm’s origins with the bourses was very interesting and Dennis is a great presenter. We really enjoyed interacting with the horses during the walking tour. The horses are so gentle and seem to love the attention and treats! As an added bonus one of the donkey babies slipped under the fence and accompanied us for the end of the tour. So much fun!

We really enjoyed the talk before the tour, Dennis is so knowledgeable and easy to listen to. I wish there was a recap to take home, no way could we remember all the info. Plus because my background is marketing and advertising, I keep thinking I wished I could help make the pictures look more professional. Maybe do a story board or put the pictures in plastic sheets, and set the picture up on easels. They all seem rather worn. The horses were fantastic and we learned a lot.
