Highlights
 • Ornos - Meeting time from 09.30 am at the bus / boat stop at Ornos Beach. We start at 10 am to cruise along the South Coast and relax on our traditional Greek Kaiki style ship while passing closely all the beautiful beaches of the South Coast.
 • Nisída Tragonísi - If weather permits we cross over to the uninhabited island of Dragonissi with its caves and stunning rock formations; these are full of minerals and create the most amazing colours in the water. With some luck we see the wild mountain goats and eagles.
 • Frangias Beach - Afterwards we stop at the natural beach of Frangias where we have time for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear water. We have a pick-nick on the beach with wine, Ouzo and Greek snacks.
 • Kalafatis - Our next stop is at the picturesque bay of Kalafatis where you can relax and enjoy lunch in a beautifully located restaurant right by the sea. Lunch consists of a personal Greek salad, Tzatziki, bread, oven roast chicken with potatoes or a vegetarian pasta dish, 1/4 l of wine and water. After lunch you have time at leisure to spend on the beach or in the coffee bar by the sea. Also there is the possibility for plenty of water sports activities on Kalafatis beach.
 • Paradise Beach - We then board our boat to continue for our next stop at the famous Paradise Beach. Here you have the opportunity for another swim or to see the party in the Tropicana Bar which has just recently been elected as one of the best beach bars worldwide.

A great day visiting beaches... -
A great day visiting beaches, braving the very strong winds, my partner and I enjoyed this boat cruise, which included the opportunity to snorkel with gear they supplied. 10 min limit so everyone could have a go if they wanted Make sure to take your bathing suits, towel, hats, sunscreen, plus solid shoes for getting on and off boat. I thought the boat could have been a bit better, it was old but you could sit or lie everywhere on it. The guide was great and made everything clear. The tour included wine and ouzo plus olives and bread which was nice. It also included lunch on one of the beach stops, this food was average and small, but wine included. We did this tour beginning of August 2017.

I loved getting to see so much of the coastline of Mykonos, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared great information with us. Lunch was delicious! We didn't get to spend much time at each beach, though, and although it was advertised, we didn't go to Paradise Beach and the famous Tropicana Bar, which I was looking forward to. We went to Super Paradise instead, which was fine, just not what was advertised.

The second was a lot nicer. We were given an hour or so on each beach and our lunch was great. We had the traditional greek salad with chicken and potatoes. For vegetarians, they offer spaghetti, Just be sure to let them know. The last beach they took us to was Super Paradise beach. That was really nice and the music was great. Just be alert! I brought my son with me and we sent him to the beach because there was a white couple to our right where the woman was giving the man a hand job in plain sight! Otherwise, our guide was really nice. They do not really tell you anything about what you see while we are heading to the beaches which I would have enjoyed more. Plus the photo above in not accurate because you do not pass any caves at all! Otherwise, it was a great day.

Chaotic but good fun - Okay so it’s not like we rented a private yacht and a Michelin starred chef so there shouldn’t be any expectations I’m going to give this day out a 5 star review. You get what you pay for. It was chaos at the meeting point. We had to hang about for a good hour before we “set sail”. It was a busy day and so 2 boats were required. A wee one and a bigger one; neither of which would win more than 2 stars if they were hotels. Our boat had definitely seen better days but it stayed afloat so that’s the main thing. It was a bit of a haul out to the first stop off; a ‘private and pretty wee beach, and our guide pointed out a few landmarks along the way to pass the time. Some olives, dry bread, and a plastic cup or two of vino or juice, was provided, and those who were up to it could snorkel or swim in the sea. The beach isn’t bum friendly to sit on so take a big beach towel or blanket. The sand is coarse and very rocky and quite painful underfoot (too sore for me to walk on) so wear flat, waterproof shoes. Next stop back along the coast was for lunch and it was lovely if somewhat slow at times. Food was tasty, the wine less so, but water is plentiful and so don’t be shy to ask for a 2nd or 3rd bottle if you feel dehydrated. Last stop was Super Paradise Beach. Mental busy and expensive but the cocktails were lush. I admit to feeling very very old though. It’s definitely a place for the young crowd 😊 some of who chose to stay rather than get back on the boat. Being a couple of oldies my friend and I headed back to the good ship lollipop for the last part of the trip back to Ornos beach where chaos resumed once again as folks queued for local buses back to their various resorts. We didn’t fancy leaving just yet so wandered into a wee pub called Porto Ornos where we had more amazing cocktails served to us by the lovely Xrhstos. His pina coladas were the highlight of our day 👊💥

It wasn't helped by the gale force wind that raged all week, despite the sunshine and blue skies. Our longest stop was at Super Paradise beach which was very crowded and a bit expensive.

The lunch was poor and unappetising, as it is the start of the season perhaps things might improve. I wouldn't recommend this trip particularly if you are elderly or had reduced mobility.
