Great evening in Shinsekai - Booked the food tour on very short notice (two days in advance for a Friday evening in August). The food was always plenty and the selection very diverse. Most types we had not tried in the prior 10 days in Japan. Andy our guide was very knowledgeable, always a good laugh and not stingy with recommendations regarding things to do and where to go next. We had a great time all around.

True Osaka flavour!! - We had a brilliant tour with Kevin around downtown Osaka sampling some food and liquid delights. Kevin really brought Osaka to life (not that it needs too much help) with the background, cultural history and some personal anecdotes. We had some fantastic whiskey, cocktails and vintage Saki along the way and a true Osaka evening experience. Really recommend for anyone visiting the city, especially for a first evening to get settled in and develop a taste for this amazing place! Kevin was great and we ended up staying for beers after and got great insights from the other guides.

Food Tour: Excellent Culinary Experience - Natalie our host was very knowledgeable, engaging and humorous to boot. She provided a comprehensive historical and culinary background of the 13 items served and tasted. Natalie enthusiastically responded to all queries from the six guest with a full explanation and clarification on follow-up questions. This tour and this host/guide Natalie is a must do in Osaka. Choice of restaurants provided a wide range of experiences like an izakaya restaurant to a counter bar/food experience. Natalie exceeded our expectations and were fully satisfied.

Our favorite food tour! - Our best food tour yet! We tried so many delicious dishes and saw a new part of Osaka. Mico did such a great job showing us around and giving us the history behind what we were eating. We learned a lot about Japan that we otherwise wouldn’t have.Great insight into Osaka and Japan's culture— not just food. He answered all of our questions and gave us a huge list of recommendations for the rest of our time in Japan. Thank you Mico and Osaka Food Tours!
