You will see an old busy commercial district with the Tsutenkaku Tower as the symbol of this area. ◼︎Step in time as your guide takes you through a food alley from the past◼︎ You wouldn’t believe how much you can explore in this narrow alley which is only 1.2m in width. ◼︎Stuff yourself like you mean it at Dotonbori, the “nation’s kitchen” with local foods like okonomiyaki and takoyaki◼︎ Dotonbori has been the symbol of Osaka for a long time! Historically a merchant city and during the Edo period, it served as a center for the rice trade. Great tour, good food, Mike was a great guide - Mike was a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable about the area, what food was local (and good!), and had some cool info about history and culture of Osaka as well.

Fantastic tour guide and amazing food - Aika has been great. It’s clear she knows the city very well and we had a lot of fun with her. She replied to all our questions, shared recommendations and made sure we were enjoying the experience at all times. We really loved her.

A food tour to remember. - A very enjoyable evening. Delicious food, and information about local culture and traditions. Mike was an excellent guide, very friendly & knowledgeable. Helped us find the correct train to return to our hotel.

Eat, walk, drink and talk around Osaka - Hide was a wonderful host and guide. He showed me many cultural sites to start off our night, and moved into food, drink and conversation about the city, culture and travel. The food was delicious, the beer was cold and the conversation was enjoyable and enlightening.
Hide showed a great depth into the history of Osaka as well as its development into “Japan’s kitchen”.

AMAZING FOOD, TOUR GUDIES & NIGHT SPENT - Best food tour in Osaka! Naru and Aika were our guides for this trip and were absolutely amazing. Not only were they super friendly and spoke very good English, they answered all of our questions about the city, culture, history and how to spend time on the rest of our stay. All of the food was excellent. It was very easy in a non overwhelming way to try 4 different cuisines in the heart of the city. We felt like we made real Japanese friends! It was an amazing experience, well worth the cost, and learned so many things we would haven’t known otherwise. We received amazing recommendations for things other than just the food. I will definitely be looking at more Magic Trip tours in other cities and for future trips.
Naru and Aika thank you so much for the wonderful night, we can not thank you enough for making our first night in Osaka memorable. I will definitely recommend this to many friends!

THE BEST FOOD TOUR IN JAPAN! - If you’re thinking about taking a food tour in Japan, this has to be the best. I couldn’t imagine a better expierence than the Magic Trip foodie tour. Aika & Naru were so much fun to hang out with, and showed us an amazing night! Over three hours filled with incredible food, and local knowledge of Osaka and its history! Their English was amazing and they made us feel so welcome. We ate amazing food, and felt like ended the night with two new friends! We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our stay in Osaka, and will be booking more Magic Trip tours for our time in Japan! We can’t thank them enough for how they treated us, and the knowledge and recommendations they gave us for the rest of our trip! If you have the chance to take this tour, book it, you won’t regret it!

A must do for first-timers in Osaka - Our tour guide, Mike was very knowledgeable about all the areas we visited and Japan in general. They gave us plenty of tips for our onward trip. They took us to some great places for some very tasty food. You shouldn’t leave this tour hungry. Would highly recommend to any first time visitor to Osaka
