Outstanding - Mountains almost to the sky, wide valleys that the eye can hardly measure, paths where there are no roads, friendliness that is second to none and then a guide (Mahmadnazar) who made the whole thing possible for us completely chilled. A dream trip!

9-day Osh to Dushanbe Pamir Highway Trip--so many memories! - We did the 9-day Osh to Dushanbe trip that included several hikes. Our driver in Tajikstan was excellent--experienced, knowledgeable and conversational in English. The scenery was spectacular, but for us the hikes were the highlight (all self-guided). The hike to the Engels Peak meadow was one of the best days of hiking ever. It was important to us not to spend the entire time in the 4x4 vehicle. The road is quite bumpy in places. Visit Alay was excellent to work with and the trip went smoothly. They responded promptly to my emails and questions. I highly recommend them for a Pamir Highway trip. For context, we are over age 60 independent travelers, who avoid luxury travel and like to get off the beaten path.

Well planned tour and amazing drivers - Amazing drivers, showed us all the spots, willing to stop for photos and smaller side detours. Shamil and Jarkin were both great personalities and friendly. The tour is well planned, good pacing, good combo of hikes and sites. Really covers all that you want.

Fabulous Pamir trip - I had a fabulous time on the 9 day Osh to Dushanbe trip. We had 2 great drivers, Jarken on the Kyrgyzstan side who was super sweet and kind. We had Shamil on the Tajik side who was the man. He knew everyone and was super efficient. The scenery is mind blowing! Seriously amazing country and people. We had a fantastic group who clicked and met other visit alay cars along the way and all in all had a most amazing 9 days. I would come back and can recommend.

Osh to Dushanbe adventure! - We had an amazing tour of the Pamir Highway from Osh to Dushanbe. Both our drivers were amazing. For the first stretch from Osh to Lenin peak we had Jarken who was very helpful in answering our questions and driving carefully and explaining the sights. For the second stretch from the border to Dushanbe, we had Shamyl as our driver and I highly recommend him. The views were amazing, we had plenty of time to stop everywhere and driver spoke good English. It helped that he knew a lot of local areas and we did some stuff slightly off the beaten path. One of my friend fell sick and our driver Shamyl got her a doctor and was helpful translator and fixed the problem. The best part of the drive was the wakhan corridor where we soaked in the views and the hikes recommended by visit always was top notch. The drivers made the trip for us and highly recommend visit alay for organizing and coordinating a successful trip!

Pamir Highway with Nurbik - We booked an 8-day tour from Osh to Dushanbe with Visit Alay. We didn’t reserve a guide, but we had the most amazing driver (shout out to Nurbik!) who made all the difference. During the 8 days we each took turns getting sick (probably a mix of altitude sickness, exhaustion, and food poisoning), but Nurbik took great care of us, even arranging for a doctor in an extremely remote village. We had a small issue with our GBAO permits, so we would recommend that you just double check that all the details were entered correctly beforehand (so you don’t end up stuck at a checkpoint for an hour like we were). Overall, a trip of a lifetime and would definitely recommend :)

Incredible journey - Incredible journey through the pamirs, totally worth it! The organization is precise, the drivers are affordable and they take care of their passengers, all the homestays on the route are nice places run by lovely local families.

9 day Pamir Highway - Excellently organized trip, they helped to secure the British Visa and GBAO permit. Umar our driver is a legend, safe driver and had a great time hanging out.

Pamir Highway Tour - The trip was amazing, we loved enjoying the scenery on both the Tajik and Afghan sides of the border. The Afghan market was a real highlight, so was the Baba Fatima hot spring. Our driver, Umar, was excellent. Adaptable to our needs, a professional driver, fun and with outstanding language skills. Would recommend!
