- Otranto - Embark on an adventurous journey along the Capo d’Otranto Path to marvel at the Punta Palascia Lighthouse and the nature trails of the Otranto-Leuca Natural Park. Experience an exhilarating trek on one of the most picturesque hiking routes in the park. Starting from the port of Otranto, we will traverse scenic coastal paths.
- Torre del Serpe - Discover one of Otranto’s iconic landmarks, the legendary Torre del Serpe. We will walk along the Sentiero delle Orte until we reach the bay that shares its name.
- Baia delle Orte - From this point, we will ascend the coast to explore the former Bauxite Quarry, featuring its red lake and striking red earth dunes, creating a unique environment that has become one of the park’s most captivating spots.
- Cava di Bauxite - From here, we will ascend the coast to explore the former Bauxite Quarry, featuring its red lake and striking red earth dunes, creating a unique environment that has become one of the park’s most captivating spots.
- Parco Naturale Regionale Costa Otranto - Santa Maria di Leuca e Bosco di Tricase - Continue along the Sentiero di Capo d’Otranto, one of the park’s most thrilling and adventurous paths. Engage in an exciting trek, cross the fossil forest, and explore the Grotta del Vento and the panoramic Grotta del Ciclope.
- Punta Palascia Lighthouse - From here, we will head towards Punta Palascia and reach the Lighthouse, stopping at Italy’s easternmost point. Observe the mountains of Albania and the Greek island of Corfu against the Adriatic backdrop, appearing almost within reach. Continue trekking along the nature trails of the Otranto-Leuca Natural Park.

Experience thrilling panoramic and extreme trekking along coastal paths atop high cliffs. We’ll visit the legendary Torre del Serpe, walk the Sentiero delle Orte, ascend the coast, and discover the former Bauxite Quarry with its red lake and striking red earth dunes. Continuing along the Capo d’Otranto Path, we’ll embark on an adventurous trek through the fossil forest, explore the Grotta del Vento and the scenic Grotta del Ciclope, and reach the lighthouse at Italy’s easternmost point. We’ll follow the paths of the Via Francigena to Masseria Cippano, then take the Path of Memories from Colle dei Martiri. Finally, we’ll return to Otranto, concluding our excursion at the starting point.
