Sea tours - They took us about 3 hours by car from Marrakech, to this beautiful town, called the pearl of the Atlantic, full of shops and fish markets, in addition the seaside stronghold was also the set of an episode of Game of Thrones and Jhon Wick (for people who like to visit for this reason too, I would recommend it to everyone

An afternoon in Essaouira - It is a very nice place to spend an afternoon walking through the middle of the city with your friends. Also, if the weather is good you can go to the beach to take a bath and sunbathe. I recommend it

Essaouira day with Hassan - Second excursion with our great driver HASSAN!!!! The same as for ourika: we had explanations the whole way, we laughed the whole way. Even sang on the way back!!!😅 he explained to us the best way to discover Essaouira in one day......and he was right.....it was just perfect. If we had to come back to Marrakech it would be with him as driver without hesitation. For the visit, it is a very beautiful coastal town.....the beach is sublime, the sand slips through the fingers because it is so fine.....the medina and the souk are lively but less crowded than in Marrakech, which is nice. The little port with the stalls that prepare freshly caught fish for you---> it’s just great. We finished with a good meal facing the sea. Perfect day, to do without hesitation if staying in Marrakech.

Essaouira 💜 - Badr, the guide is a very knowledgeable and cheerful person. He told the whole story of Essaouira and really explained the most important parts of town. Although it is not a guided visit he told us where to go and what to do. Always smiling aswell :) Mohsin the driver is amazing aswell, very safe and patient with all of us. Super top! - Very good, beautiful city. The guide was great, he took his time to explain to us, smiling, pleasant... We discovered lots of things, thank you Saïd! Don't hesitate to call him. The only downside was the driving which was sometimes a little violent even for Marrakech and not always pleasant.

Unpleasant Overall Experience - Essaouira itself is a lovely city. We were happy that we took the time to do a day trip from Marrakesh. Roughly 4 hours given to free explore the town was enough for us. However, in the end we were not too happy with the tour company. It is not a guided tour (which is stated so we knew that beforehand, so all good on that) so the main service is the transfer. The driver drove nicely thank you for that. But the leg room was extremely small and 2,5-3h per direction, it is substantial amount of driving still. Given how uncomfortable the sitting part was, I wish we booked our own transfer instead (which is definitely possible with the amount of money we paid per person for this tour). What was worse, which is the main reason for my 1* score is that, when I wrote an OK review on the page I booked the tour, the tour guide texted me and called me on my phone. I felt harassed by this experience and regret taking this tour at all. I wouldn't have given the lowest score on the tour alone but the attitude afterwards definitely drove the score here.
