Excellent overview of Oxford from the perspective of a recent alum! - Very engaging tour! Loved every minute of it! Our tour guide Jess just finished up at Oxford and had lots of information to share which she did in a really engaging story-telling style. Perfect length at 1.5 hours. Strongly recommmend!

Short but very enjoyable tour of central Oxford - We had a wonderful tour with our tour guide Angelica. We were lucky that we were the only ones to book on the day, so we got a "private" tour. Angelica was friendly, informative, and her descriptions of what goes on at Oxford were entertaining. It was a short walk (or it felt short because of how much we enjoyed it), but we saw several historic, beautiful buildings in Central Oxford, and were told about the history and modern usage of them. Just note that it's a brief highlights tour, and doesn't go into a lot of detail about the history and colleges, so if you want that, choose a longer tour. We would definitely recommend doing it.

Enthusiastic tour guide - Our guide was a young student chemistry student from India. Her accent wasn't too strong, and she did not speak too fast, so that we - being German - could understand her well. She had a lot of knowledge about Oxford and clearly enjoyed her job. She was always open to even the strangest questions. The sights were well-chosen and offered many chances to take great photographs. The tour started with some degree of confusion, as quite a few tours start from the same location, and at first, we could not identify our tour.

Great tour - I did what was supposed to be the shared walking tour, but I ended up being the only one signed up for the slot! Rory was great and incredibly knowledgeable on everything, and had lots to share even when I didn't have many questions. I travelled from Canada, so it was interesting to learn about the differences in our university systems.

Great walking experience - We definitely wanted to give praises to Cassie for the excellent tour she gave us. She knows a lot of Oxford history and knows exactly where to take you and the places to meet. We had a great time walking around and learning. Give her our thanks again for the great job.

Oxford by foot !! - The guide was good, had lots of information on the different sites. What we missed is a view inside of the library. But after 2 hours walking we had a much better view of Oxford.

Guide is great, but we overpaid - Well, our guide Savannah was the amazing friendly girl, who told us a lot of interesting information about Oxford, the university, etc. But only now we understood, that the boy, who sold the tickets near the train station, took a really huge money from us! The price on the site for "Shared • Oxford University College Walking Tour Led By University Alumni" is set as 23£. We paid 125£ for two tickets!!! We are shocked. I'd like to recommend this tour for others because our guide was really nice. But I can't do this, I don't want anyone else to be deceived....
