Won't be using Viator for a tour again. - We had some significant issues with trip and did not make it. -pick up time said 9am. I inquired and Viator responded back with 8:30am, 5 days after I initially reached out. I wouldn’t have known the pick up time if I did not reach out. -the pick up time and Location response was sent to me 5 days after I inquired. -We waited in the car an hour for the rest of the tour group to get their act in gear. One couple took over 20 minutes to come to the car. Then they coughed the whole time while they were in the car. After the covid pandemic, that was very unnerving. The next group we picked up. There were at least 3 seats in the car and they lady argued and refused to get in the car because there were not enough seats. There was exactly the amount needed for her party. We waited over 15 minutes for them to decide to get to the car. -we were driving along and my friend and I realized this tour was falsely advertised as being 9 hours long, and that it started at 9am. There is no way that would happen when we were not even at the main location yet and would not make it there till after 11am. We were around Surin when we realized this and asked the driver to leave us because we could not go on this trip. Even if we got to the spot at 11am, each stop was an hour long on the online agenda. That would make it till 4pm, not counting travel time between the spots. Plus our driver said it would take two hours at least to get back to our hotel. Plus with the rudenesses from the inconsiderate tourists with us in our vehicle, we probably would have been waiting on them or listened to them complain at each stop. Our luck we would be back by 8pm or 9pm. I told this to the lady on the phone. She insisted we would be back at 6. Clearly did not have an understanding of the situation. She said we would be refunded our money. When will I expect this? We were dropped off and had to take a taxi back the 50 minutes to our resort.
