Mauro is AWESOME! - We had so much fun! Mauro took such great care of us. Honestly, he became one of our group. He is just so friendly and so easy to talk to. My husband and I visited Panama with my brother and his significant other and we wanted to explore, obviously. We got hooked up with Mauro and he made it so simple to travel from the hotel to the city. He spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the different sights around the area. Beautiful tour near Playa Blanca - Wonderful tour guide and experience and I highly recommend! It's also great of you're staying in or near Playa Blanca and you don't want to drive to Panama City. Our guide was a safe driver, conversational as you'd like, and in just a few hours we did a ton. I would highly recommend this.

Another great trip to the Riu Playa Blanca - This was our second trip. We were here last year got the same room 6012 ocean front. In all our years of travel best view ever. 7 minutes from airport 5 hour flight from toronto bum sore 😎. Food was awesome nice and hot not like punta cana luke warm to cool. Delicious variety. Pools warm in afternoon due to heat and the bar pool if you know what I mean not refreshing at all. We spent our time on the beach nice breeze everyday. Many people getting stung by jelly fish in ocean. I got it last year. Just like a bee sting.the rooms we're very nice except for the pillows. They were not very big more to lay an infant on. And not comfortable at all. This was reported to the Management They need to somehow screen in the noon hour buffett at end of the pool. Blackbirds swarming there crapping on seats eating food off plates when people leave and don't leave your plate ever. I came back to table and they were devouring my spaghetti. Not very sanitary so naturally I left it. They have these guys on the public beach part offering HORSE rides and drugs. Friends we met were approached from one of the horse men asked him if he wanted to ride. He said no then they asked him what about Marijuana or cocaine.he told him no. The police were there several times did nothing never asked to check their saddles said their paper work was In Order. We felt sorry for the one security guard no backup for him trying to cover the whole beach area. Management told us the police have been called so many times but refuse to act on this situation. We were all asked to fill out a complaint forms which we did twice.the poor horses were in the heat from 7am 5pm. Never saw them fed or watered but some guests would bring the horse men out food beer water not the horses. Now their in 38 degree heat all day. They stock your fridge every two days 2 of each beer sprite coke orange crush 4 water and little package of coffee to last you two days.also issued a complaint on this. They never had any one dollar US bills at front desk for tipping. Make sure you bring a bunch. Alacartes were good except steak house for us. We had small button ribs all grizzled but heard different reviews on steak. All the people were great friendly smiling and willing to help you if you need everything. Big shoutout to Gabby Entertainment, Eatamarta customer service rep and Maricruz our breakfast lunch server. We will be back had a great two weeks like in 2023. The Riu has nothing to do with the horses and even has a sign explaining this going out to the beach. Take the monkey island tour take grapes they come on boat take them from you and the embera tribe tour but it is 10 hours 3 to get there 3 back 4 hours for tour.
