The Certosa di San Lorenzo is an incredibly expansive monastery, comprising 320 rooms and halls. It has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.

The tour commences from the entrance hall with the guesthouse’s cloister, followed by stepping into the church to marvel at the Neapolitan baroque style decorations featuring golden stucco, majolica flooring, and marble altars. Visitors will be fascinated by the Fathers’ wooden choir with 16th-century wooden inlays before heading to the hall of the bells, the Chapter, and the Treasury.
