Highlights
  • Big Lake Trading Post - After visiting Lower Antelope Canyon, we’ll stop at a picnic area where restrooms are available. You can also purchase additional food and drinks here.
  • Navajo Mountain - Navajo Mountain, standing at 10,348 feet, is the highest peak on the Navajo Nation.
  • Lower Antelope Canyon - Our first stop is Lower Antelope Canyon. This is a MODERATE tour for guests, involving a 1.1-mile hike (1770.27 meters) from start to finish. You’ll descend 74 steps to the bottom of the Canyon and then hike on a gradual incline towards the exit, navigating ladders and small stairs in each chamber. For a visual, you can google LOWER ANTELOPE STAIRS & LADDERS (5 ladders & 2 small stairs towards the exit). The tour guides will provide photo tips and information about the Slot Canyons, as well as cultural insights about the Dineh.
  • Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument - Grand Staircase-Escalante spans 2.3 million acres of Federal land in southern Utah.
  • Upper Antelope Canyon - The second part of our tour takes us to Upper Antelope Canyon. This is an easy hike for guests. Transportation to the Canyon entrance is 4 miles from the main highway. From the drop-off point, it’s a 1-mile roundtrip hike (1609 meters). After exiting the Canyon, you’ll hike on an incline around the top and descend a 150-step staircase back to the vehicle drop-off point. This 1-hour tour will highlight the differences between Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons.

Great tour company! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Great tour guide company. Spent a lot of time explaining the culture and everything around us. Also gave food & hike recommendations. Very nice clean van. I think we were put first on the tours because of booking with this company. This was a great tour for our family. Also, we accidentally left a water bottle, and he drove it all the way back out to where we were staying to return to us hours after our tour. Yes, they are that kind of nice people. We would definitely book with them again. And they provided cold water and snacks!

Truly an unique experience! - The views are out of this world! Though I had seen pictures of them before but seeing them with my own eyes were a whole different feeling ! Our tour guides gave very good tips of how to take pictures, too. Though the ride from parking lot to the Upper canyon entrance was rough and the weather was very hot, the experience is worth it.

Great VIP Concierge Service to Tour Antelope Canyons! - Dineh Tours is a concierge service that drives you from your accommodations to the canyons, keeps you in comfort and A/C as long as possible, provides water and snacks for your experience, and our concierge, Dominic, also seemed to have a lot of "pull" with the guides who actually took us into the canyons (and may have gotten us some VIP treatment). More than once, we heard him whisper to the guides "these are my people" and we felt like we were pulled to the front of the group, given preferential treatment with photo opps, etc...because of him. Dominic was very open and forthright with all of our (nosy) questions about his family, Navajo culture, history, etc. and we learned a lot about the Navajo Nation during our time in the van. It was really nice to be treated like royalty all day and we appreciated this service! A note: Your Dineh guide will NOT be your tour guide into the canyons (Dominic did NOT take the attached image). There are only 2 groups allowed to actually give tours Lower Antelope Canyon and they cost $55/pp. There are 5 groups that give tours to Upper Antelope Canyon and they cost about $110/pp. so...We paid $975 to Dineh for $500 of actual tours if we had driven ourselves and hoofed it on our own. What you are buying from Dineh is the comfortable VIP transports, snacks, drinks, entertainment with stories/history, and some pulled strings to make your day pleasant and comfortable, It was worth the extra $500 or so for us and we highly suggest for anyone who wants to have a smooth and comfortable day touring! I would very highly recommend this serivce to groups with children/elderly/physically compromised individuals. Have fun!

Better than we could have imagined. - This tour was amazing. Of course the canyons were awe inspiring. The beauty is literally breathtaking. There were 3 guides. One was our driver who picked us up at the VRBO and returned us there and transported us to/from each canyon. We had a guide at lower antelope canyon and another at upper antelope canyon. Everyone was kind and most of all very knowledgeable of the area. The guides in the canyon assisted with taking gorgeous photos of the canyon and also group photos. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Thank you to all involved.

Makes seeing Antelope Canyon fun and easy - Our family had a wonder time with Tevin leading and teaching us about Navajo culture and history. Upper and Lower Antelope canyons were both amazing. They are different enough that it was worth seeing them both, and we got great pictures in each place. Tevin picked us up from the hotel, taught us about his culture and answered our questions between the tours, and dropped us back at the hotel afterwards.

Excellent trip. I highly recommend. - Our guide was Colton Ketchum was excellent. He was kind, timely and got us 1st in line for both Lower and Upper. Our guide for the lower canyon was great, and knowledgeable of the history. Our upper guide took great care not to just repeat what we had just heard, but to ensure we had awesome pictures to take home.
