Saw different wild life and activity. - Tharindu was an excellent driver and guide. He was very knowledgeable about where to find the wildlife including the leopards. He also stuck to the lesser tracks rather than the main straight roads that run through the park that are far less scenic. Much better than the tour we had the previous day that we’d organised through our high-end hotel (which was more expensive). Recommend morning over afternoon tour although you do see different wildlife and activity depending on time of day.

Great Safari, Much Recommended - I had a fantastic full-day safari with Tharindu as my driver and guide. He is really good at spotting animals and tracking their movements - I saw two leopards, got close to many families of elephants, and saw all the other must-sees at Wilpattu National Park.

10/10 amazing experience. - Excellent day visiting Wilpattu! We got great value from our full day tour. We saw tons of leopards, elephants, water buffalo, mongooses, deer, birds, etc. and even the elusive leopard! Tharindu is really passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife. I love how he protects animal welfare! The provided breakfast, lunch and snacks were great too. Overall, we were so happy with our experience and all the amazing animals we got to see.

Adventurous full day safari in Wilpattu - Travceylon was very helpful in arranging a full day safari to Wilpattu for us. The contact was adequate, flexible and quick via whatsapp and we had a lot of fun in the national park with our guide, Tharindu, and our driver.

Great safari experience - Booked an evening safari at very late notice and therefore expected some problems or it not to happen. However, very pleasantly surprised when got a reply to my query regarding contact point within a minute. The safari ran smoothly and ‘my driver’ joined us with no issue. An extra pair of eyes is always helpful as well. The jeep did fave a mechanical failure after hitting a stone but a replacement arrived in 10 minutes. Having tried 2 vehicles I can say they are pretty comfortable given the terrain. This varies and even though in dry season we passed through water which adds to the safari experience. We saw plenty of wildlife which was pointed out and the driver/guise had a second sense fo altering the vehicle position for good viewing/photos. We saw elephants, samba and spotted deer, crocodiles, mongoose, various reptiles (no snakes sadly). Plenty of birds seen which was my particular interest. No jaguars but guide said they had seen in the morning. We stopped halfway for comfort break where there was also a viewing platform over lake. The toilets are in good condition. We actually got over 4.5 hours of time as I arrived early. I was really impressed that when I got back to my hotel they had called to say my room key had fallen out in jeep. And arrangements were underway to sort out.

Good tour - Very good tour. Driver worked hard to make sure that we saw as many animals as possible and to explain what they were. We took the afternoon tour.

Good driver - The tour itself was good! Nothing bad to say about our driver, he understood the nature and the animals. Unfortunately we didn’t see lots of big animals like the leopards, bears or elephants. But that’s not something our driver could help! Overall good experience!

Great driver, park and experience - Great experience, very helpful driver, stopping where we wanted, we were getting late and still he decided to “chase” leopard Sri Lanka because other groups saw him. And we did it, we saw him. I highly recommend
