a memorable visit - I had an excellent tour of the DMZ with our tour guide Shane Ha (Jeonghoon Ha) He did an excellent job explaining the history and lay out of the DMZ and the situation between South and North Korea past and present. I came to appreciate the accomplishments and culture of Korea. He also accommodated us with a visit to a more accessible suspension bridge across a beautiful lake because of my walking issues. His driving was safe and flawless. All in all it was a memorable day I and my children will long remember.

An awesome day at the DMZ - I had an amazing tour with my family! We got to see the third tunnel, ate some army stew, got to see part of North Korea, learned a lot about Korea and the Korean War, and we got to go to the lake suspension bridge! It was great and we all had a great time. Our tour guide was the best too. Shane Ha was very knowledgeable and a fun tour guide! It wouldn’t have been as awesome as it was without him.

Pricey, but worth it - Very efficient. The private tour guide was able to avoid the bus crowds and provide extra personalized tour information.

Great informative tour - Great tour of DMZ 3rd tunnel, Gamaksan suspension bridge and Dora observatory. Mr Kwon, our tour guide, picked us up from our hotel and gave a nice history about North and South Korea and the DMZ during our drive to the ticket purchase area. Although it is a private tour, you still get on a bus with other tourists to actually get to the 3rd tunnel as required by law (no private vehicles). Don't forget your passports and if you go in the summer I highly recommend bringing a wearable or portable fan as it is hot and humid!!! (Regardless of what you do in Seoul I still recommend a fan) the 3rd tunnel is pretty cool whether you are a history buff or not. As a reminder the JSA is closed since last year . Once your return from the DMZ you are back on your private tour. The bridge is beautiful (a slight hike up the mountain so wear comfortable shoes and bring water). The Observatory offers views into North Korea which is pretty cool. Mr Kwon was very nice and personable and answered a lot of random questions about Seoul and Korea in general during the car ride . Would highly recommend this tour!

DMZ trip for family from Virginia - Awesome Experience and a must to do trip. Our personal guide Shane was super nice. He explained each step very well and was very friendly. Lunch was superb, typical Korean vegetarian food due to our preferences. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip and we recommend everyone to do this trip with Shane. He deserves 5 star!

Worth a Visit - We very much enjoyed our visit to the DMZ. Our guide Alfonso was super and customized the trip to our desires and timing. He also picked a great place for lunch were we got to sample some Korean dishes and took us to royal burial site that was both interesting and picturesque.

Educational and Informative - Informative tour that our guide Shane, made sure to go over all the critical history of the Korean War and how the DMZ became to be. We are a family of 4, traveling with two teens and this was a highly education for them. Gave them a deep appreciation for their freedoms and of their privilege! Thanks Shane for your attentiveness in addressing all our questions AND needs. You were so kind accommodating the kids and our dietary needs. Thank you so much Shane!

Good guide, lousy tour - Our tour guide B. J. Kwon was a very fine guide, but the tour itself was not worth the money. We expected a private tour, for which we paid $396 (for two people). In reality, we were dropped off on a bus tour with perhaps 40 other people. The Bus driver/tour guide only spoke Korean... The only redeeming part was a drive to the suspension bridge with BJ and a mediocre lunch. If it wasn't for B.J. attitude and spirit, I would have given the tour only two stars.
