Must do in Palermo! - We enjoyed this cooking experience so much! Alice welcomed us into her house with open arms and made us feel like old friends. My teenagers loved this as well. We made two different pastas from scratch as well as homemade tiramisu. We then sat down and all ate together and had great conversations. This is a must do!!

An enjoyable and educational experience! - Alice was a fantastic host and teacher! We had so much fun learning how to make busiate, ravioli and tiramisu. We had a thoughfully arranged apperitiv before dinner where we ate our delicious creations. I would highly recommend taking a class with Alice to have an enjoyable yet educational night :)

Wonderful experience! - Our hosts were so welcoming and kind. They were English speaking but we learned a few Italian words from speaking with them. We had a lot of fun and they were so enjoyable! Wonderful morning spent cooking and pleasant chatting - Antonella and her family were friendly and welcoming, they taught my mother and me how to prepare fresh pasta. In addition to having enjoyed an excellent lunch, we were struck by the family atmosphere that was established with the Cesarina, her husband, her children and other family members. Really A beautiful family and excellent dining experience;)

Amazing evening - We had an amazing evening with Maria Giulia. She was very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. We started with the tiramisu and then had a drink and a snack before we went on to make two kinds of pasta. When everything was done she finished it off and we ate with her and her son which was very nice. We really recommend you book an evening with Maria Giulia you won't be disappointed.

First Cooking Class Was a Success! - My friend and I had a fantastic experience with Lucrezia and Nonna. Upon arrival, they were so welcoming and happy to have us in their home. Instantly, we felt comfortable as they offered us snacks and beverages. Once it was time for the cooking to begin, they were organized, prepared, and had ample space around the table for us all. Hands were always washed and tools used were as well. There was also a good balance of watching/learning and then being able to try techniques out on our own. Both of them really seem to enjoy having people in their home to teach, especially Nonna who was smiling most of the time. It warmed my heart so much! It truly felt like we were at home making food and they made the dishes not feel intimidating. Now we feel ready to do it on our own in The States! Food turned out amazingly and we were so full! Haha Lucrezia was able to speak in English and Italian so if that’s a concern, there is someone there to help us English speakers out. Again, what a wonderful time my friend and I had. Personally, my favorite part of my weeklong trip and an honor to be in someone’s home learning something like this. Grazie mille!

Unparalleled experience - We had an extraordinary experience with Rosa Marie! She has extensive experience in the restaurant industry, and it shows in the way she guided us through preparations, cooking, and eating at the end. Her ability to be flexible with our learning interests and engage our two kids (age 9 and 11) was impressive. She’s patient, expert, and rich with her knowledge and insights. Her husband Maximiano joined us for dinner, and it was a delight to chat and learn about Palermo and Italy. The class exceeded all of our expectations - our questions were answered and hopes for learning to make several types of pasta using several methods met. The bonus was being welcomed into a warm home and treated like dinner-party guests.
