BEST TOUR EVER - This was the best tour ever! Jen and I loved every moment - Fulvio was the perfect guide with his knowledge and expertise about Palermo and foods and wines. We highly recommend and wish we could have stayed to do a cooking class. We even tried to be brave eating some of the local cuisine! Thanks Fulvio!

Really enjoyable morning - we were stuffed! - A really enjoyable morning! Fulvio the Chef was a brilliant tour guide who showed us lots of weird and wonderful traditional Italian food from the markets. We didn't like all the food but there was such a good amount and a wide selection that we were stuffed by the end! You get a really good value for money in food drinks and experience. Fulvio also had a lot of knowledge about the area, telling us interesting stories about the history of Palermo including the mafia, the fountain and the old town square. Taking the tour with a local is highly recommended as we were taken to places that tourists wouldn't usually go. By the end we were a little bit hot and bothered so make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen, drink plenty of water and wear a sunhat to protect yourself! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone else who wanted to try something fun interesting and different!

A really good food and culture tour - We enjoyed an excellent tour with Fulvio through the back streets and markets of Palermo. We savored samples of food that we would not have tried otherwise, and overall had an enjoyable tour. There was ample food, and lots to see and take-in in the colorful markets of the City. Fulvio was knowledgeable on both food and history, and overall our experience was excellent. We too had a little trouble finding the meeting spot, as another reviewer mentioned. There is not a green pharmacy sign, but rather a group of shops across from the steps of the Theater Massimo (that has a Cannabis sign presently). That should be corrected in TripAdvisor and is not the tour leader's fault. I highly recommend this tour.

Great food and culture tour - Fulvio gave an amazing tour of Palermo that incorporated history, culture, and food. The highlights included the Baroque church (San Joseph’s) and and the “Shame fountain.” The food was all around incredible and included interesting and authentic street food only found in Palermo. Bring your appetite! Fulvio’s sense of humor and openness to talking about some of the developments and challenges in Palermo is what made this tour special. Would recommend it to anyone looking to experience real Palermo.

No experience to report - It is unfortunate that we did not have the positive experience written about by the other reviewers. In fact, we had no experience at all. We were told to meet at a pharmacy across the street from a landmark. Specifically, we would know the pharmacy by its green cross. We spent an hour looking for the tour without success. We canceled and later saw that the address for the meeting spot was not a pharmacy and did not have a green cross. A frustrating and wasted morning.
