Amazing Tour!!! - I had an amazing experience on the 6-hour guided motorcycle tour with Simoon Panajachel. Our guide, Pedro, was exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the area. He provided great insights into local attractions and culture throughout the journey. The tour offered breathtaking views of Lake Atitlán and surrounding volcanoes, with well-planned stops at scenic viewpoints. We rode through picturesque mountain roads and visited charming local villages, giving us a perfect blend of adventure and cultural immersion. The motorcycles were well-maintained and safe, making the ride enjoyable even for beginners. Overall, this motorcycle tour is a thrilling and memorable way to explore the Lake Atitlán region. Highlight of my trip to Guatemala - Overall, this was one of the highlights of my trip to Guatemala. It was fun, adventurous, and I learned a lot. I would strongly encourage you already have a decent amount of motorcycle driving experience. You will be riding a motorcycle with a clutch, and there is not much of training. You just hop on the bike and follow the guide. When you hit the roads, there is not much to say, but so much to see. You will be riding through little towns around Lake Atitlan, the beaches, the tops of mountains and more. You will also get to stop by in areas to explore all with your guide. The guides there are super helpful and friendly, they played a big part on why this was a great trip. They knew a lot and could answer all my questions, and would take great pictures to remember this trip.

Unmissable adventure - We took a tour of several towns on Lake Atitlán. Jeshua was our guide, kind, friendly and very polite. It was a great experience and it is an opportunity to get to know another country in a different way. All the coordination was excellent, the safety, condition of the motorcycles, protective equipment and instructions. I definitely recommend it and would do it again. Thank you!

Best experience ever - The motorcycle tour was the actual most fun thing I’ve ever done in my life. Genecarlo was the absolute best guide. His passion for motorcycles and Guatemala were so obvious. He single-handedly convinced me to come back to Lake Atitlan and do this tour again!

A grand tour of Lake Atitlan - Our moto tour around the lake was amazing. They set us up with bikes that fit my wife and daughters shorter legs and me with a bigger more powerful bike. They supplied helmets and gloves as well. The bikes were in perfect order. Our guide Nehemias was a true local Mayan gem. He is born and raised here at Lake Atitlan. He took us to his home town of Santa Catarina Polopo where we got a taste of the history of the area and personal family stories. The many intricacies of the local Mayan culture were explained in detail. There, we visited a coffee shop that was an extension of a small families home coffee farm. Next we visited San Antonio Polopo and a shop that demonstrated making chocolate. We also visited a shop that demonstrated how the traditional Mayan fabrics are made from scratch. We then visited a ceramics shop where local artisanal ceramics are made start to finish from locally harvested clay. We then left for an extended ride through the countryside up a very fun steep hill climbing out of the lake caldera and continued to Santiago Atitlan where we eat a wonderful lunch at a beautiful restaurant in an enchanting garden on the lake. Afterwards we rode all the way back to Panajachel. Nehemias was very careful about making sure our group stayed together and was safe from traffic or road hazards. The entire trip was an overall delight. The highlight of our visit to Guatemala.

A “Hard to Beat” Experience - After getting back from our motorcycle tour, my husband said, “It’s going to be really hard to top this outing... that was amazing.” With much experience riding in the United States, riding in Guatemala was an entirely different experience, one that both me and my husband thought was a thrill. He drove while I rode on the back, which was a good call, since I have significantly less experience riding than him. Neme, our tour guide, made us laugh, shared a well of information about parts of the areas we visited, was the BEST photographer, and became a friend to us quickly. The tour is a great way to see many parts of the lake, and I would highly recommend booking for experienced riders while on your trip to the Lake Atitlán area.

Fantástic ATV experience - It was a FANTASTIC experience to drive the ATV and get to know the small towns and local people. The guide was excellent and patient. We got to explore beautiful places and landscapes and beautiful sight of Lake Atitlan all the way !!! Definitely will do it again !

Fun adventure on the less traveled side of the lake - We appreciated seeing the western side of the lake since fewer tourists seem to go there. The stops at the cultural center, chocolate factory, and other points of interest were fun for learning about the community. My husband drove the bike and I was the passenger. Our guide was very supportive in helping us adapt to the bike and various road conditions. We had some long waits for construction traffic (30ish minutes x 2) so you might want a book or some entertainment to wait it out. Overall, we’re glad we did it!
