I will pick you up at the hotel or Airbnb where you are staying. From there, I will drive you to the indigenous village by the Chagres River. We will take a boat, a canoe, to the waterfall, which will take about an hour or more, depending on you. Afterward, we will continue by boat to the village. There, you will have lunch with fruits and water, and they will share their history and explain how they make their native clothes. Finally, we will return to the drop-off point, the same place as the pick-up.

This tour is one of the most booked tours in Panama’s Embera Village. Experience the authentic indigenous culture along the Chagres riverside. The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel, Airbnb, or apartment. We will drive for 45 minutes to the Chagres River via the San Miguelito road. The native indigenous people will greet us at the river with a boat (canoe) to take us to the waterfall, which is a 20-minute ride. You can swim at the waterfall, so bring water clothes, shorts, and sneakers for walking in the jungle. We will spend 1.5 hours at the waterfall. Afterward, we will visit the village where the indigenous houses are located in the jungle. Families, kids, and women will welcome us with native music, clothing, and houses. They will serve us a lunch featuring the catch of the day, green plantains, and fruits. We will spend 2 hours in the village before taking the canoe back to the car and then returning to the drop-off location.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
