Embera tour is an unique experience that combines the visit to one of the main indigenous group in Panama and having contact with the amazing nature in the Central-American rainforest.
Note: The Embera Village suffered a fire and several houses were affected. With your visit you will be contributing to the reconstruction of the damaged houses.
- Chagres River - After picking you up at your hotel, we will go to the path “El Charco” where we will walk in the middle of the jungle observing the exuberant fauna and flora of the rainforest. In this location there is a small waterfall which is a beautiful location for taking some pictures.
Later we will take a boat heading to Ella Puru, a small traditional village located in the shore of the Chagres River. The Emberas will show their traditions, their way of dressing and how they elaborate their handcrafts. They will perform their traditional dances and music and we will have time for interacting directly with them. We will enjoy lunch prepared by the Embera community.
